A very good source of direct information is at this website: http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/index.php which has policy speeches and other quotes directly from Ron Paul. I know I always appreciate direct quotes instead of tidbits and twisted information.

“I can, a Hillary/Obama ticket and they would win over your team by 20 points minimum. Get real.”

Rob, I guess you didn’t learn anything from November 2006. Elect anyone else but Ron Paul, and the American people will come out and DECIMATE the Republican Party. Ron Paul will not only save our Nation, but also the Republican Party. You’re in denial.

Ron Paul represents the greatest cross-section of our Nation more than any other candidate from any party. He’ll surely win the presidency, if only he can get past the misinformed neo-conservatives who wish him doom.

Allow me to rephrase my statement using your own terms : Nobody is going to let the troops "do their damn jobs". We just had the most hawkish admin ever and they couldn't get the job done. It is quite likely that the next president will be a Democrat. All of the rhetoric about "supporting the troops" and "giving them the tools" and "staying in until the job is finished" is about to go about the window. How the republican base fails to see this, I don't know.

It's funny that neocons claim that RP is out of touch, yet, at the same time, they keep saying we need to fight this war like WWII. It simply isn't going to happen. The public (the other half of the public) won't buy it.

“Obviously prolife, I have nothing but complete agreement with him on that.”

No, not really prolife. Ron Paul would leave abortion up to the states. You could kill a baby in one state but not in another. I hardly call that prolife.

“Does this mean that Ron Paul only wants the President to go after those that perpetrated 9/11?”

What Letters of Marque and Reprisal mean is that Ron Paul wanted to hire pirates to find Osama Bin Laden.

I have also acted to protect the lives of Americans by my adherence to the doctrine of “just war.” This doctrine, as articulated by Augustine, suggested that war must only be waged as a last resort--- for a discernible moral and public good, with the right intentions, vetted through established legal authorities (a constitutionally required declaration of the Congress), and with a likely probability of success.

First, this war was authorized by congress. Second, he'll only wage war if there is a likely probabilitty for success? So, if there is not this probability for success, he'll not defend this country? Yeah, he's my man /sarc

Well, yes, he’s for repealing Roe V Wade. Repealing Roe v Wade would do exactly that- It would kick it back to the states.

Isn’t repealing it a goal of the prolife movement? I always thought it was.
