I could have said much more, but short and to the point seems to make more sense. I am proud of the young people our nation is producing, despite the past 40 years or so of attempted brain-washing. War is bad, but there are things that are worse.
Two thirds of my children are girls, and I will not see them forced to wear chadors or burkas. I passed up on a $70K a year, tax-exempt, overseas job when I retired to avoid just exactly that. It won’t happen here while I’m still breathing, either.

What a fool. I spent 29 years in the Army, and never once thought I was being duped. I, for one, am proud of my service! Thanks for your service, LK! Whatever I've accomplished in civilian life pales in comparison to my 8 years on active duty.

This sounds silly, but when I read the article I assumed it was written by a woman. I did’t notice the author’s name.
It’s bad enough coming from a lib woman, but a MAN writing this way about a member of his family makes me ill.
Talk about the pussification of this country. Reminds me of the idiot holding up the “Husbands for Hillary” sign at the campaign rally for Her Thighness. Jeez...

Why didn't you join at 35 or when you became wiser?
It was too late for wiser. An accident had left me with limited mobility in my knees. It's another thing that probably wouldn't have happened if I had joined the military.

(Greed is NOT a conservative ideal.)
