King George

That sums it up. Presidents are bound by their oaths to obey and enforce the laws. Kings are above that.

One favor Bush has done us is to reveal just how fragile our republican form of government really is- one scofflaw President is dead set on changing the United States forever, and he is defying the American publics' desperate attempt to keep him from doing it.

“But one should not deny his intellectual capabilities,...”

I get it; it’s a joke.

I had a discussion a few years back with one young man (in his late teens) during Cinco de Mayo, and when I asked them why, if they are here in the U.S., they are celebrating Mexican independence day

It isn't even their Independence day at all, it was just a victory in a battle with the French. I'd be embarrassed to celebrate such a thing. What is stupider is more and more Americans celebrating sinko de mayo.

Everything he has done in the past is/has been/will be overshadowed by his betrayel of us with the immigration bill. The bill and the bill alone if passed will do more to ruin us then anything I can think of.

So do you have the number of illegal immigrants that are now serving in the US military?

Actually first Treasury Secretary Alexander Hamilton came up with idea of the funded public debt back in 1789. He just did it with tariffs rather than an income tax. The idea is as old as the Constitution.

(a private entity of worldwide private bankers/investors from whom the US govt borrows money,)

Not exactly. The U.S. government borrows money from anyone who buys Treasury debt. If you have a savings bond or a T-bill, it's you. The Fed collects interest only on its own bond holdings, which pale in size to that of foreign central banks, "bond vigilantes", and any number of organizations that don't make as good a boogeyman as the Fed.

Madame de Pompadour said something far more appropriate to Bush’s behavior: “Apres moi, les deluges.”

Translation: Let the floods come after I am dead.

Given Bush’s age, he’ll probably be safely off the planet before the largest, most vicious chickens he’s hatching now will come home to roost.

They will roost on OUR grandchildren. HIS grandchildren will be safe behind the walls of some posh gated, security guarded gated community.

You ought to hire a few illegals to type some pro-Bush posts to help balance the score.

I think that is the best theory I have heard thus far of the outrageous pathological tale being told by border bots.

Of the 6 billion on the planet, 2-3 billion live at or under the poverty line. Where do YOU draw the line?

Let the Mexicans stay HOME and, like the colonists here over 200 years ago, clean out the oligarchs running the place and start over.

And if it goes bad, so be it.

That’s preferable to having them all move here and DESTROY AMERICA FOR MY 6 GRANDKIDS.

I wouldn’t regard Bush as a “moron”. He’s just a terrible president. He has broken judgment, has no regard for the constitution, and started a war for which he had no plan for victory.

My memory of presidents began with Reagan, and Bush is the worst I’ve ever seen. I voted for him twice and I’m mightily disappointed.

I wish I could have arrived under happier circumstances.

Here's the good news - when things are bad, they always get better. The bad news? When things are good... yeah, you know, they get worse. Welcome, it's always fun.
