HAHAHAHAHA!
Absolutely.
This is what Mexicans living here think about the nation they parasitize
You don't get out much, do you.
I submit that if the situation were as bad as you say, the “American” thing to do would be to fight to make the situation there better. America is as much a set of values as it is a physical place...
No, they are coming for the benefits and not much more.
Query. Have you ever seen a USA/Mexico soccer game played in the US? We’re the “road” team even if the game is in Chicago or Columbus. Illegals have little respect for America other than what it will do for them. Hmmmm, a Kennedy said something about that once...
#323...
I just made the same comment about soccer games played here between Mexico and USA.
We there yet?
The road to Amnesty
I would get out more if FR would let go of this raging hate bush over immigration fixation.
Til such time, I am consigned to dealing with small minds determined to lose to HIllary in 2008.
I worked in law enforcement for 20 years, handling a number of high profile cases.
Bush is willing to use force to alienate the public away from Republicans and ensure HRC's election. He is unworthy of respect and brought shame to himself.
(and I'm a guy who kicked $1,000 to the Swift boat guys at a time when I was starting a new business)
Bush will be kicked into the dust bin history with incredible negatives.
Great minds...
Too funny, you were writing the same thing at the same time.
Aww.. Chin up, Bucko!
We'll still have each other.
Right, FReepers?
Right, FReepers?
(crickets)
I am all for granting them USA citizenship in trade for 6 years in the military.
I’d like to turn them into a fighting force to take back Mexico from the druggies and the whole corrupt system.
I’m just suprised that the US military would accept anyone without any way to tell who the really were.
That's pretty much what Jorge has been saying for a while now.
Different words, of course; I am unimpressed.
I'm sorry, but Steyn wrote several great columns pointing out how these two issues are intertwined in the months after 9/11. He pointed out how our pathetic INS approved student visas for flying school for Atta and some of his chums months after they crashed those planes into the WTC and how easily illegals get fake IDs in some states (which terrorists could also use). 9/11 offered the perfect opportunity for reforming our problems regarding this issue and-as much as it makes me ashamed to admit it-this government seriously dropped the ball.
I've been to the desert twice and I believe in the defeat of our enemies, but this amnesty fiasco is driving me away from the President.
If this were true, they would not be sending $20 billion of earnings back home to relatives in Mexico.
Why not keep it all for themselves?
I agree with your point about fighting for something better, but Americans need to think more realistically about the desperate global conditions. I often say to people you need to support war. If you cannot support war then you can expect immigration.
Human beings are never going to just sit back and accept death as a text from various global oppressors. We have a pretty good border enforcement system with Cuba. yet every year more than 3000 Cubans risk shark infested waters, Coast guard retrieval and return, death or Jail by Castro in order to maybe get in to the US illegally.
I remember FR being sympathetic to Eliane Gonzales. I guess now everyone here is glad he got sent home. he was just another Illegal alien.
Get em all.
Ah yes the talking points of the drama queens of the right. Who cares about the real truth, it feels so good to bitch 24/7.
“Remember BushBots: when Jorge leads all the lemmings over the cliff, he’ll be the only one with a golden parachute.”
I think I may have a new tagline.
Hysterical comparison.
I guess desperation can lead to that.
Does it really matter who wins or loses anymore? We supposedly "won" in 2000 and 2004, and look what it’s gotten us.
