You said: I believe Ann Coulter has referred to Bush as a nincompoop. That about sums up my feelings also.
I won’t go so far as to describe our President as a nincompoop, but Ms. Coulter has the right to her opinion and the right to express it.
I am disappointment with the President. Usually we see growth in our Presidents, as they mature and adjust to the office. But our sitting President hasn’t shown any improvement in his communications skills, in his comfort level, in his effectiveness. For a while, I thought he was perhaps becoming more likable, but as of late, his likability factor is decreasing. My opinion.
I don’t say these words lightly; I really, really liked this President. But I cannot overlook his obvious allegiance to Mexico over the welfare of the United States.
Poor, white trash...Bush is two of the three.
elites want to make sure the two parties stay in power.
They need each other.
one of us
one of us
one of us
one of us
one of us
I am a native Texan and Texas IS a part of the “South”.
It was Grandma Fontaine--I think. The occasion was Gerald's funeral at Tara, after Scarlett was causing scandal in Reconstruction Atlanta by buying stores and sawmills and stealing SueEllen's beau...
Mitchell had quite the eye and an acid pen, which lampooned the "charming cavaliers" much more than sympathized with them. I think she did a much better job than Wharton, but doesn't get the recognition because the book is so un-PC.
It wasn’t in the movie, it was in the book, and it was Grandma Fontaine talking to Scarlett, responding to the gossip about Scarlett doing business with the Carpetbaggers and Scalawags.
I haven't been back in years. But the Texas I left behind was most certainly, positively, Southern.
Oh, you mean the movie! It’s a shame they left that scene out of the movie. They ought to do a remake, maybe in series. They also left out two of Scarlett’s children.
That’s right, Bush has active contempt for you, me and every other Conservative. He doesn’t WANT our help or support. He feels that he doesn’t need us since he can’t get elected again.
I think they do. But if not, they should:
"I rely on Texas troops in all tight places, and fear I have to call on them too often. They have fought grandly, nobly..." --Gen. Robert E. Lee
I second your rant !
He played the religious right and conservatives like a violin, when the last of the “die hards” realize this his approval will be 2%
He does not need us anymore and apparently neither does the republican party
“How is it that this immigration issue is now his and only his issue?”
Because he’s the one pushing it so damned hard. It would neve rhave gotten this far if he wasn’t obsessed with swamping us with mexicans.
Very nice rant. I agree totally.
Ok, I marginally dislike the Senators you mentioned more than Mr. Bush. I hope that makes it better.
Never don't mind Connecticut, are any of these politicians whose parents spent their lifetimes in D.C., from D.C.?
When this legislation AKA the Republican Party Destruction Act of 2007 passes, the democrats will become the permanent majority party and we’ll have a one-party state with an ever-expanding federal government which will accept NO limits on its power whatsoever.
The last laugh will be on the white politicians who thought they could get mexican votes with this blatant pander-fest. Their mexican buddies will soon have no use for them and will vote mexicans into their seats - and these white trash fools will be all be out of a job.
Mexicans vote mexican, blacks vote black - race trumps everything for minorities.
truth is that most Texans do not consider themselves Southern or Southwestern but Texan.
