Two words from this Ohio voter: Vuck Foinovich. I’ll never vote for the creep again. At least the Dem running against him will have the honesty to put the “D” after his name. There is nothing Republican about Georgy.
see #19
We don't want him here either! He definitely needs booted out of office, but Ohio is better off without him here. Maybe he would do us a favor and stay in DC as an ineffective lobbyist.
Since, according to Mr. Reid, we have already lost how could it be a turning point?
It seams like Mr. Reid is living under the illusion that as soon as we withdraw from Iraq the war against jihadism is over and things will return to a pre-9/11 world.
What the history books will probably show is a picture of Mr. Reid next to a picture of Neville Chamberlain.
What I would like it to show is Harry Reid convicted of treason and died in prison.
While I’d love to get rid of Voinovich, I think Ohio would be better off with Rob Portman as governor . . . What do you think?
Man that was one good post
I call for VFoinivich to immeadiately from the Senate.
on the subject, but slightly off...what do you know about Ann Zimmerman? My sis worked for her until this weekend, she’s a lib that intends to run against Schmidt next cycle. She hasn’t formally announced but she has her paperwork.
6 of one, half dozen of the other.
I’d go with Portman’s decision. He has considerable experience at the congressional level that could be valuable.
It’s just my sense, but I’ve always felt the Ohio governorship was some kind of a backwater.
Not much, but she’s probably like any other D.
Portman, Blackwell, Kasich...I don’t care, just so the Republican candidate is a Republican, not a limp spined nobody like Voinovich.
In Ohio we know our Senators are dims too. Its just that one of them is supposed to be a pubbie.
In fact, before a dim replaced our other pubbie Senator in 2006 we had two dims anyway.
I'm not voting for Republicans anymore. I'm only going to vote for Conservatives.
You have my vote.
Voinovich says he's presenting his proposal for a way out of Iraq in a letter to the president.
Cry me a river George...
Oye vey!
On the bright side, he’ll probably retire in 2010.
While you are at it, work us up an exit plan for Germany, Japan and Korea.
In modern times only communist Vietnam failed to learn that the lesson that teaches, “Lose the war to the U.S. and then lay back and count the golden flow that will roll in.
Instead Vietnam not only defeated the U.S. but kicked the U.S. out of the country.
There is a reason why top Iraqis want us to stay.
The Defeat at any cost crowd is on the rise again.
Of course he wants the troops home. Instead of spending money on defense, there’s plenty of Ohioans sitting on their asses collecting entitlements. They need more of my money. George the damn RINO! Oh yeah. Think what I said is a joke? Then why did gas shoot up 25 cents/gal and why milk is going north of $4/gal?
I also wrote liberal Sherrod Brown, my other senator. At least he had the decency to reply.
Not another tear-stained letter from George!
