That made sense to Svetlana K. and her business partner Vladimir T.???????
Just goes to show there’s a moron born every minute, even in Kzakhistan.

Why all the anonymity?
It must have been the curse. After laying eyes on it, they all became heavy drinkers and now go to AA meetings.
I think the term Holy Grail in the title and article is a bit misleading.
The term "holy grail" is metaphor for something valuable and long lost and even unattainable but of such importance and so powerful, that many are compelled to search for it regardless of the effort or the price or futility of the endeavor.
Sort of like the Rosetta Stone has become a metaphor for the key to understanding. Too bad Svetlana K. and Vladimir T. weren't in possession of the Rosetta Stone of how to smell a scam.
But I dont get from the article that the sellers really tried to pass it off as THE HOLY GRAIL but they might have let the gullible (or perhaps drunken) buyers read into what they wanted to believe. I find the Nazi connection equally as dubious. I bet if you look real hard youll find a stamp Made in Mexico.
If you offered to sell me The Holy Grail for a measly few million, saying it was found in a lake in Bavaria and BTW, it looks like a cereal bowl with a vaguely Celtic design, Id probably pass, but only because of some temporary cash flow problems.
But I would tell you about my very good friend, pen pal and interested buyer from Nigeria. Youve heard of him, hes the former finance minister of the recently deposed king, and he wants to make some investments while in exile and sitting on all that cold hard cash.
I would give you his email address, as you would need to give him your bank account and routing numbers so he could wire the funds directly into your account, but he is a very private person and in fear of his life
.. better yet, Id offer that you could give me that information which Id gladly pass on to him, acting as an intermediary for a small upfront commission.

Maybe “holy grail” in terms of an ultimate treasure, as opposed to the true Grail? If this is a true chunk of Nazi gold, it would still be a valuable historical relic.
