If the conversation with her ex-boss was recorded - this suit will be settled quickly and quietly. Her ex-boss should be concerned about getting any more press that will bring visits from the TABC.

Back in the olden days, before MADD was so active, DWI arrests of Texas Legislators were fairly common. Staffers used put in money on a pool, to pick the first Legislator to be arrested for DWI each session.

Because his belligerence cost him a vote. And, very likely the votes of this girls friends and family.
