I don’t doubt that...you were close enough to them to pet them!
Having been given enough notice and being in closer proximity, are ya gonna make it to this one?
Dang!!
Yep, told TheMom barring disasters I’d be there. ;)
Yep. The little box after the address is mostly in the cemetery.
See the three long white buildings? Those are storage buildings. The little white things to the right of them are parts of the gun range.
Back here on earth, whatever calibers you have, make sure you have plenty of ammo on hand, there might be a need for it!!
Be Ever Vigilant!!
around 8-900 rounds of 7.62x51, a fair amount of 7.62x39, (200 rounds or so for the SKS) some but not enough, only a few hundred rounds, for the little War Baby (.30 Carbine). Maybe 700 rounds each of .45 ACP and .22 LR. Oh and about 20-30 rounds of buckshot for the serious social purposes shotgun. (More small shot for practice and very up close work).
Not enough to fight a revolution perhaps, but at least a good start. If my house is ever raided, it'll be termed an "arsenal".
That’s a start!! :)
6-23-07) It was around 8:30 on Saturday morning when an alligator showed up at the Walmart in Aransas Pass. An employee discovered the seven foot animal and then quickly called 911. Officers arrived and decided the gator needed to be tied up. So, three police officers grabbed onto the amphibian and duct taped it's mouth. Eventually, wildlife officials arrived and took the gator to the Aransas Wildlife Refuge. link
Thank you. I’m sure it would be nicer to see them in their own natural habitat...woodsy area with a stream. Would prefer to see one that is not in distress and subject to excitability. :)
Think the cops were more exited than the gator. :)
That Walmart is about a half mile from the shoot.
I laughed at this:
This range is for members only, some may complain, but I own the darn thing and can make up the rules as I go along.
Yep -- he's from Texas. LMBO!!
BWAHAHAHAHAAA!
When I walked into the range office, which is also part of the owners home, I smelled a very familiar, and comforting smell. It was not until later I realized that his wife was frying okra from lunch. Sure wish I would have asked to stay for lunch!
Did you see post 110?
Oh lady - you are talking about my FAVORITE comfort food. Throw in some cornbread and you got a perfect pick me up. LOL
I guess the DCS gator needed supplies and went down to da Wal-Mart to shop.
