Glad you got yours in. The poll appears pulled.
Never mind, found it. Now where’s my coffee?
"(a). Any citizen knowingly employing, sheltering, concealing, or otherwise assisting (other than emergency medical care) an illegal alien shall suffer forfeiture of all property, real and personal, all assets, businesses, business licenses, and any other thing except his/her physical freedom and two changes of clothing; after which he/she may seek employment and start over.
"(b). Any non-citizen legally resident, acting as described in para (a) above, shall suffer the same penalty and be deported to his/her country of origin within 48 hours.
"(c). Any public official, in any branch of government, at any level, who under color of clemency, legal discretion, or other official privilege, shall obstruct, alter, or modify the swift application and extent of paras (a) and (b) to any degree soever, shall suffer the same penalty and be summarily removed from office."
(There's your teeth. Thats to keep judges from saying ooooo, thats too harsh and governors etc. from handing out pardons to business-owner buddies.)
the day the federal government goes into these churches arrests the illegal alien and immediately DEPORTS them, then they could talk to me about illegal immigrant legislation.
U.S. law does NOt allow for churches to offer sanctuary to any criminal or fugitive, including illegal aliens. Any church (and every elected official) which offers sanctuary to illegals should be held accountable to the law.

Churches have the responsibility of saving souls. The state must save lives by protecting citizens from criminals..
A man is not immune from the law just because he says he is a preacher. If he shelters criminals he is guilty of aiding and abetting criminals and is subject to the laws regarding helping criminals avoid justice.
I STOPPED GOING TO THE METHODIST CHURCH OVER THIS. ANY ONE ELSE?
Churches today Mosques tomorrow..
Looks like this ones been freeped.... but what the hey :)
FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!***
FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the
Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin’, if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list)
(gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)
Took the words right out of my mouth Kid. Sanctuary in churches would have to include Mosques.
Fine, let them harbor criminals but, if I were law enforcement, I would yellow tape the whole church and put signs at all entrances “WARNING...there are criminals being harbored in this area. For the sake of public safety, DO NOT ENTER THIS AREA.
Police vehicles would be posted at all entrances to turn back all attempts to enter.

As soon as they get involved in sanctuary for illegals, then they become political and should lose their tax exempt status.
What churches are doing in the illegal invader cases isn't sanctuary, it's harboring of criminals, not the same thing and should not be allowed.
True any church that does this should lose it tax status immediately.
No sanctuary.
