IIRC,

a swarm is much more concerning than ‘small ones letting off pressure.’

Seems to me, small ones can also increase the pressure on lock points.

Art doesn't miss an opportunity to predict gloom and doom caused by man-made global warming.

I used to think Art Bell was reasonably intelligent and the weird subjects discussed on his show were hype for ratings.

However, his hysterical fear of man-made global warming proves that he is an idiot just like Al Gore.

How about it. I can’t listen to Art anymore, since every news item he reads has to tie in somehow with his warped views on climate change, and his guests are more often than not even nuttier about GW than he is. Even when he anointed himself cheerleader for all the Year 2000 kooks, I would still listen for the occasional good show. But there aren’t good shows anymore when he’s hosting. He should have the decency to retire (for real this time) and let George take the reins.

The “big ones” statistically always occur within 3 days of a full moon

That's completely, utterly false.

Why does it seem like people go out of their way to miseducate themselves about seismology?

ROFL...I’d forgotten Deyo had used FNMOC NCODA SST maps to fabricate his worthlesscasts. I should have checked to see him whine about them going offline.

I kind of figured his links would bring you out with the usual dismissiveness.

I disagree.

Art doesn’t believe the subject matter on his show but AL Gore believes his subject matter.
