If she had the same condescending, snotty, know it all attitude as you do, I don’t doubt that he was irritated with her.
Of course he was irritated, he was in an airport!
Have you done any flying recently? It’s a maddening experience.
Moreover, this guy thinks he’s the center of the universe. He decides, in the security line, to have an argument over TSA policy with a TSA underling. (And, of course, he was wrong, but even if he were right, give up the soda and don’t be a jerk to everybody else.)
If I’m behind him, I’m furious at him for holding up the proceedings. He occupies so many members of security over, well, I don’t know why he bothered after getting through security once. To prove a point?
At each stage, he wants nothing more than to provoke a confrontation. If you’re a security officer, you have to ask why. Is he a diversion? And he keeps escalating the thing until finally, with the rolled shoulder, he found himself resisting arrest.
Fortunately for his having a criminal record, the cops went overboard and engaged in excessive force, so any attempt to charge him would result in a lawsuit. On the other hand, any lawsuit would result in charges. Hence, a standoff.
Oh, and I encourage you to read this article and pay very attention to the little details at the end.
Haha...he is a contrarian, excuse maker. Trying to reason with him is like casting pearls before swine.
Some people are just bent.
