Planet is five years from disasterThe World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) warns governments have until 2012 to "plant the seeds of change" and make positive moves to limit carbon emissions. Yeah right. As if there is anything we could do in the next five years that would make a difference. Even if we successfully implemented Kyoto, we would be lucky if we made even a few hundredths of a degree difference over the next hundred years.

During todays primary election here, a voter came in with a "Stop Global Whining" hat on with a picture of a baby crying on it. It is my job to select R or D on the voting machines so they can pick from their party.
I didn't really need to ask which party he was member of.

We know that these morons are fundamentally not serious because:
1: They set an artificial timetable of five years
2: They claim that supposed greenhouse gas emissions could be cut by 80% through renewables, and
3: They insist that nuclear power is not a necessary component of that 80%
One need not look forward. These positions identify them, unequivocally, as political hacks.

The lib papers are so hot IslamoPC now they should just follow their own advice. For example, don’t they know that the 12th Madhi is going to craw out of the well in Qom and save a lot people (except all of those non-Sharia of us who will be beheaded).
See there is absolutely no reason to worry about global warming. The Madhi has it and most else covered according to the wise Iranian nutjob err..philosopher whom the MSM says deserves the utmost respect by all unenlightened Westerners.

WWF, I’ll bet you 10 million dollars the planet lasts longer than 5 years. If I win, you pay me 10 million. If you win, I won’t have to pay you since we will be dead.
So, there should be no reason for you to turn down my bet, right? You won’t have to pay off, right? What? You say you won’t bet? Why not??

I snicker while grabbing another beer loaded with carbon dioxide.
I'm in the carbon dioxide business.
It ain't goin' away.

Something must be on the horizon that is going to blow their BS out of the water or they wouldn't be so damn desperate with their warnings.
Their line is sounding like a bad life insurance salesman, below quota, at the end of a month.

Plus, look at how many carbon dioxide exhalers would no longer be on the planet contributing to the greenhouse gas problem. Ya, but their carcasses would decay into Greenhouse Gas.
I'd suggest they slip on the Nikes and let the Mothership take them off to another Galaxy.

Just five years? Oh crap, looks like I’d better start packing. Time to get out the star charts again. Maybe Art Bell can recommend a good place to relocate.
