Planet is five years from disasterThe World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) warns governments have until 2012 to "plant the seeds of change" and make positive moves to limit carbon emissions.

Yeah right. As if there is anything we could do in the next five years that would make a difference. Even if we successfully implemented Kyoto, we would be lucky if we made even a few hundredths of a degree difference over the next hundred years.

1: They set an artificial timetable of five years

2: They claim that supposed greenhouse gas emissions could be cut by 80% through renewables, and

3: They insist that nuclear power is not a necessary component of that 80%
