Maybe I’m biased, but I kid you not, I think about 90% of the animosity was generated by Rudybots acting like we’re all idiots ready to help Osama. The ones that were flushed were (for the most part) the ones that were projecting that attitude. The Rudy supporters still here are the ones who have been acting respectful, and I welcome further debate with them.

You are putting up a strawman. With the exception of the traitorous Ron Paul, there is not a single GOP candidate—NOT ONE—who will lay down for the Islamofascists. To pretend Rudy is alone on that is insulting to the intelligence of every conservative.

You cannot use cheap analogies to the business world (that this is a business, that we are customers) in politics. They don’t work, because the two spheres are radically different.

Oh, I don't know about that. I like my restaurant analogy about Giuliani pretty well. I use it on Rudybots who insist that I must--RIGHT NOW, DARN IT!--back Rudy or Hillary becomes President. Goes like this:

Just because I'd rather eat dog crap than cyanide crystals doesn't mean I should walk into my favorite restaurant and demand a plate of dog crap. This is the primaries, baby. I'm choosing something yummy. I'll worry about staving the cyanide off at the next meal.
