How long would it take to buy ammo with a background check?
What happens to gun shows where hundreds of boxes of ammo are on tables. Would they have to construct counters to put the ammo behind?
All this will do is give Arizona and Nevada gun shows and stores more business.

I have a $100.00 bet with a friend of mine that Arnold WILL sign this bill into law if it gets to his desk.

Think back.......Hillary Clinton came up with the idea a long time ago. She knew she couldn’t ban guns altogether so she quietly started getting people to consider banning ammunition. Peoples memories are short but it’s coming to the forefront now.

Unsuccessful at keeping guns from gang members and criminals,

Well duh. What a surprise.

It isn't about keeping guns "out of the hands of criminals" It's aobut keeping guns out of the hands of EVERYONE (except the military and police, and of course criminals) The wet dream of every gun hater out there is a "society where only the police and military are armed" according to the Brady whore and her accomplices. They "want them all" according to Diane Feinswein.

‘Fraid they already know what do.
1. Outlaw reloading supplies.
2. Tax primers.

Some idiot leftist Dem Senator from New York suggested much the same thing but wanted a special “tax” on bullets. I can’t remember the guy’s name, but I think it sounded Irish.

The Gangstas will just drive to Nevada to get their ammo. They go there every other week for R&R anyway.

What a doofus.
I am in California and I'm embarrassed.

Let's review reality.

Everywhere that gun control has been tried, guns become more numerous, and exclusively into the hands of criminals.

Bullets are smaller, easier to conceal and transport.

There are millions of citizens entitled to buy bullets legally today. If this clown is successful, they will all be instant criminals if they attempt to buy ammunition without a background check and paperwork.

The criminals remain unaffected.
This is almost, but not quite, as classic a truly stupid move as suggesting to put unique ID numbers on individual bullets.

How about spending time in reducing the absurd tax load on its citizens?
Reducing the salaries of idiots elected to office?
Something useful?

One week has passed. The libs are all using the media to call for seizing legal guns from law-abiding citizens and leaving them in the hands of criminals who obey no laws.

De León has proposed Assembly Bill 362 as a step toward making California the first state to conduct instant background checks on buyers of handgun bullets.

Does he mean this:

or this?

Bullets are just one of four components of a cartridge, but expecting a legislator AND a journalist to know the difference is asking too much.

so how do they plan to deal with reloaders?

Bought any powder lately?

They'll demand reloaders get a license, or ban it outright. Another tactic is banning lead ammunition as an environmental measure.
