"So, you're just playing a smartaleck, stirring up trouble. Yeah boy, you fit the bill. Gotcha."

Has it truly gotten to the point that no one can disagree with what's going on and instead we all need to march in lock step? I didn't realize you spoke for all of FR.

That’s okay to say... over on the other forum where you can drive. But in your analogy, the car belongs to the religious right, so you and howlin are incredibly rude. You wanna drive, get yer own car. That’s what she did.

"The word “socialism” has a well known definition and there is nothing that I know of that suggests that Mayor Guilani is a socialist"

The word “socialism” fits perfectly when a man willingly allies himself with socialist causes and becomes an activist for their UnAmerican activities. Hint, look into who’s really backing NARAL, Planned Parenthood, NOW, all these gay/lesbo groups, Gun control, illegal alien pushing groups and antiwar groups marching on Washington. Look who these socialist cause groups march in lock-step with: International Answer, World Workers Party, etc. Who backs them: George Soros, Ted turner, et al, and the dregs of the liberal/socialist democrat caucuses in our congress -— and Rudolph W. Giuliani himself.

Why is that? He marches with them, celebrates with them in their ever advancing victories over decency and freedom, attends their functions and speaks before them, sits in on their board meetings, writes and publishes congratulatory letters to them as they trample on America and our unalienable rights, and works to advance their socialist causes.

He’s a prime mover and shaker for the very socialist groups that are destructing religion in America and destroying the very moral fiber of our free society. Just this week the socialists passed a bill criminalizing pastors who dare preach the Word of God from the Holy Bible against homosexualism as a sin. Thought crimes! Thank you Rudy for helping the socialist gay agenda stick another dagger into the back of freedom of speech, freedom of religion.

Let’s face it, he’s an ally of our socialist enemies and therefore an enemy of conservatism and freedom. You’re either with us, or you’re with the enemy. Socialism is the enemy. Read up on Reagan’s thoughts regarding socialism vs freedom.

Why would we possibly want to elect a man to the presidency when he’s an advocate for socialist backed America destructing societies? That’d be like throwing open the gates to the city for the enemy.

FR has never been a Republican Party based forum.

It would have been very difficult to make that conclusion between 2000 and through the 2005 election.

"Yes, I wish there would be Ronald Reagan. There is not. This in house fighting is not worth it. It will not help. We lost some good conservative Freepers. We have to win for our Troops. So the treason and the policies of the left do not win. If that happens, sorry to put it bluntly, we are screwed."

Well stated, GodBlessUSA. Some of us are loosing sight of the fact that we're in the middle of the opening act of a World War, and that we MUST prevail. There will be no second chances.

Then why do they keep their anti-FReeper thread private?

Which thread is that? I'd like to go look at it.

I wish that there were a Ronald Reagan out their to lead the conservatives but unfortunately I have not seen anyone who can fill his shoes.

Both Duncan Hunter and Fred Thompson can fill Reagan's shoes (or at least come closer than anyone else).

As far as Rudy goes, he is TO THE LEFT of both Tom Daschle and Dick Gephardt. I can only imagine how long Jim would allow someone to stay here if they were openly suggesting that we should vote for Daschle and Gephardt.

Howlin has not been banned. She left of her own accord. Whether she will be back is an open question.

I am fairly certain that Jim Robinson has been given a Google cache of one of the threads.

>>>>>I didn't realize you spoke for all of FR.

I'd say my politics are consistently conservative and speak to the goals and objectives of Free Republic as laid out by its Founder. Your politics appear to be coming from a different perspective then mine. Therefore, I sense you're feeling a bit uncomfortable and rightly so. Read on.

“How many times must I say FR is a conservative site? We do not support abortionism, homosexualism, feminisim, environmentalism, gun control, liberalism, socialism, etc, etc, etc. When I say I suspect we will become even more conservative than we already are, possibly via attrition if nothing else, what do you think I’m referring to? When FR starts pushing hard and I mean hard against abortion, gay marriage, homosexual education forced on our school children, pandering to illegal aliens, gun control, McCaine-Feingold type usurpation, global warming, etc, etc, even if supported or advanced by the GOP, then I fully suspect certain types of moderate/liberal Republican supporters are probably going to be a little uncomfortable here. We will be fighting for traditional American conservatism no matter who we have to fight against and I’m afraid that’s going to piss off some folks.”

Your not kidding. If people do not recognize that this is the slow unveiling of World War III. The history books can read one way or the other on how we handled it. &This is reality. Gore choke on it, but this is truly the inconvenient truth. Not the ice bergs melting. Many conservatives still don't see it coming. We are again, excuse my language, screwed if a liberal wins White House. It's not peace time like the pig Clinton had.
