I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. Tis the business of little minds to shrink; but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death.
Thomas Paine

No, I think what they mean is that many Freepers are registered on other sites using their FR monikers.
I was down in the dumps a few weeks ago at the diminished level of civility in here and Howlin suggested that I check out MadIvan's site, and she innocently welcomed me to register over there...where Freepers who were harrassed and berated for our moderate positions could engage one another.
I did...using my same moniker.
They have a sidebar indicating who's currently logged in, etc.. and I noticed familiar names right away.

"No purge but lots of successful kamikazis choosing to leave in glorious outrages and opera.
With all due respect, it's been a purge (or cleansing, or pruning). As Allegra said, it's all semantics. ;-)
It's also been a loss to the Free Republic community at large. I mourn their loss, especially those conservatives that left in protest. Perhaps I'm a kamikazi, too...

Let’s keep the yard markers on the same mark. You didn’t have the common decency to respond to my posts last night that were in response to your unsolicited comments to me.

“Are you saying that members of FR are kept tabs on? FR knows what other sites Im a member of? And when I joined? I had no idea that was possible.”
Where did I ever say that? Individual members of this forum don’t speak or act in any official capacity for FR. If I go over to the other sites I do it on my own accord and it has nothing to do with FR.

I agree, There are better candidates. Fred Thompson is one of my favorites. My fear is like there was in 1996. I hope Fred Thompson wins. I refuse to outcast a man who could win though. Can’t we positively pursue a winner and support them rather than spend energy demoralizing someone who could be the nominee? Many have myths about Giuliani’s past. I also think that each state has the say in many of the social issues that will not be affected the presidency. Also do you have the name of judges he nominated to NY state that won that are so liberal?
Of course, ultimately there are better candidates.

It's been a healthy pruning.
Vigorous, new growth is already evident.

Then why do they keep their anti-FReeper thread private? FReepers who I trust completely have seen the caches of it and assure me that it is as bad as any of us say. Regardless, Howlin made a post on FR saying that conservatives have their "foot on the throat of Republicans." Is THAT acceptable to you?Teacher! Johnny just put a Pill Bug down my back, yanked on my pig tail, and called me a name!

I know that she unilaterally stopped posting but kept her account open...where once in awhile she could Freepmail some of us.
All of a sudden, I noticed her account was banned and terminated this morning....I don't know what happened.

Rudy evil? I dont think soIf you don't think killing unborn babies is evil, or removing age of consent laws so predators can have access to children - both of which are verifiably causes Ghouliani has championed, then your idea of evil and mine are so far removed that we can not have a conversation. If you persist in discarding the documentation (often posted here) so as to avoid confronting his immorality, then again there is no common ground for conversation.

You ought to know since you joined WA six days ago. Having fun? Are you one of the “special ones” who got into the secret “clubhouse” room over there?

MPL is responsible for her own actions.
And, Gray Davis wasn’t “impeached” that I’m aware of. He was recalled...which, by the way, was a joint effort of many, many people.

If you search my posts you will also see some cut and paste quotes, and you will come across other freepers posts of the same stuff on this thread. You can also just read some of the recent posts that will direct to the site, it is the Darwin one.
