I don’t know who you think you are - but you’re an idiot!

LOL...I'm looking below this window I'm typing in and the admonition below says Please: NO profanity, NO personal attacks, NO racism or violence in posts.

I often wonder how many posters have EVER read it? IMO, there needs to be an additional one, Don't tug on Superman's cape, don't spit into the wind, don't pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger, and you don't mess around with Jim". Hat tip to whoever posted this earlier.

Don’t make much difference to me. Means the reporters get lazy, and take the day off early...

“considering the 180 that was done by forum leadership with Bush in 2001, would that same 180 be done with Rudy if he is elected?”

IMO...Apparently the owner didn’t think that Bush was conservative “enough”. (Miers, borders, CFR, spending seem to confirm that btw) But I think most would have put Bush in the moderate/conservative area with his “passionate conservatism”.

Giuliani on the other hand is no where close to being a moderate, he is liberal on a littany of areas. I honestly believe Giuliani will not win the nomination and it won’t even be close. But if he did win my impression (just an opinion) is that the owner will not join with Giuliani and liberalism. My hope is that the GOP comes to there senses and gets off the bandwagon that takes us over a cliff to being a plus size Democrat Party. I think that 3rd Parties could gain more attention if this happens but I think ultimately this site will include primarily Republicans and that is the large foundation of the conservative movement. Having said that, Giuliani being head of the Party for 4 years would obviously see many, as I would see myself, as part of the loyal opposition. Whether I stay in the Party or leave, I’ll still attend local GOP meetings to work for conservatism.

The tendency of the US is towards two party systems. Normally, the umbrella parties absorb third parties, but if the GOP merges into the dems, which is the way some people would push it, then another party will rise to replace it.

“””I was backing his question, which is what I reiterated a few posts above. No where did I see in sully’s post where he was backing Rudy. He asked a question, a very legitimate question. Would you care to answer it?”””

That entire issue was covered earlier in the thread, it isn’t up to us to research this thread for you and sully.

Jim Rob responded to that question a long time ago.

You need to go back through the thread if you want the answer.

Mornings can be great? Who woulda thunk.

Well, it isn’t snowing out, so there’s a good start, I suppose.
