I finally just caught up on this thread—now I’m going to try to respond to the various pings!

I don’t think you’re with me on this. I consider Rudy as totally unqualified and unacceptable as a candidate from the GOP. Sorry, he walks all over the constitution and our unalienable rights. He’s repugnant and morally unfit to sit in Ronald Reagan’s office.
I had to think about your asking about a question mark. I think you’re referring to my tagline. I was thinking my sentence was in the form of a question since it began with the word, “why”. Sorry if that was confusing to you.
Do not try to imply that because I would vote for Giuliani as a LAST RESORT means that I am in anyway a liberal. Thank you very much. I think I’ve stated my opinion on the matter quite clearly. You can choose to not vote for a Republican at all and allow a Democrat to win. As for me, I couldn’t sleep at night if I thought I hadn’t done everything in my power to see that a Dem will NOT become the next president of the United States.
I wonder who they expected to clean up that mess :’)
BTW, allow me to say lest you become confused.....I do NOT consider Rudy Giuliani to be a conservative on social issues. I didn’t just fall off the turnip truck. ;)

I keep hoping that soon I'll wake up one morning, turn on the t.v. and hear that Fred Thompson has announced his candidacy. I've learned that I'm not alone in my feelings on this subject, and that gives me hope. Thank you for your comment. :)
