Thanks for putting it clearly and exactly.
I can't see all the support for Rootie, he's just fine with abortion.

IMHO, the root difference between conservatism and liberalism IS our belief in God. For the most part, we conservatives defend our Christian/Judeo founding and our God-centered traditional American society and family values system, and the belief that our most fundamental rights were bestowed upon us by our Creator. Rights given by man can be taken by man. Rights bestowed by God are unalienable rights.**************
It's wonderful not only to hear someone say it, but that we are still able to do so. Thank you, Jim.

My real thought is that if there are some 55 million abortions annually worldwide and 35 million in the U.S. alone, what does that say about women anyway?
Whatever happened to moms and apple pie? When did so many get to be murderers?
Oh, wait. These are the women who dont think unborn babies are real live human beings!
How come we, as a nation, are outraged when one gunman kills 32 people, and we arent outraged when 55 million women kill unwanted babies?
Whats wrong with this picture?
Hey, people. Wake up. God is watching! This is the same God who lifted up an entire island in the Solomon Islands during the last earthquake. The island rose ten feet. Do you have any idea how much power that took?
Its absolutely time for all of us to start being good. Dont know what that means? Get ahold of a copy of the Ten Commandments. And be quick about it.

A fun thing to do, whenever you get a chance to ask any candidate for any office any question, is to ask them this:
1. Where do our rights come from?
2. What is the purpose of government?
You'll get all kinds of answers. Rights are granted by the government, the Constitution, the Supreme Court...
Government exists to protect people, to enforce laws, to grant rights, to collect taxes...
Then tell them the answers.
1. WE hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights...
2.That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men...

Great post.
Personally, I thing the Rudybots here support him primarily for his abortion stance.
“We supported your Republican anti-abortion candidates for the last 30 years. It’s time you support someone from our side.”
