Thanks, you saved me the trouble. I already went through all the bother of finding liberal cities and towns that reacted the same way to the virus as Rudy, and of course, as always, the pro-rudy people ignored it.
I find that is actually the best way to wind up these threads, just by posting a few facts that render the original posting moot. I like to keep it directly related to the original posting, because otherwise we end up with a dozen pages of “that’s spam” posts, and complaints and recriminations.
The rudy people are good at answering critics like that, but don’t seem ready to answer substantive challenges to the premise of articles like this one.
Anyway, they all moved over to another “rah rah Rudy’s got money” thread.

Perhaps you could check into things before you say something is untrue?

I commented on a direct quote from the original post, deal with it.

All of this is irrelevant. Last time I checked, he was now a Kyoto supporter.
source please, I don’t believe that.

You mean the Central Park Conservancy that Rudy got ex-wife #1 appointed to head for $209,000 a year in 2000?

I don’t see Kyoto mentioned in this article you’ve sourced.
saying you believe in global warming does not mean you support Kyoto.
The President said he understands the need for action re: Global Climate change, but the whole Gore mantra is a bunch of whooie.

I’m mostly uninterested in attaching “liberal” and “conservative” labels to people, because no one agrees on what these terms mean. That said, I think most of us who oppose Giuliani know he fought the left in NYC. He also fought the right, and the middle. I believe it’s true that he doesn’t let anything stop him — unfortunately, that includes the Constitution’s limitations on government.
In short, the enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend.

Rather than study the problem to death, that summer and in 2000, Giuliani launched widespread insecticide spraying against West Nile-carrying mosquitoes. Environmentalists went haywire.BUMP!

"There are some people who are engaged in the business of wanting to frighten people out of their minds." In 2000, he told CNN: "The reality is that danger to human life is more important than birds, fish and insects."BUMP!

“Id never heard of that woman, so I honestly thought I was right.”
Thats understandable. The fact that Rooty was boinking his cousin for many years isn’t something he advertises much.
