Islamic group denies reports that al-Qaeda in Iraq leader was killed
Published: 05.01.07, 18:50 / Israel News
An Iraqi insurgent umbrella group denied Tuesday that the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq was killed, saying he was alive and safe, according to an Internet statement.
“The Islamic State of Iraq reassures the Ummah (nation) that Sheik Abu Hamza al-Muhajer, God protect him, is alive and he is still fighting the enemy of God,” the Islamic State said in a written statement posted on a Web site commonly used by insurgents. (AP)

DNA and Fingerprints will tell the tale....
Hey WorkerBee! Lots of news upthread I see.
I don’t suppose it was the alleged dead leader that made that announcement.
Olmert's spinelessness and his abject ineptitude resulted in the loss of more than 120 soldiers, maimed G-d knows how many others, cost the lives of more than 40 Israeli civilians and the maiming of countless others, and Shalit, Regev and Goldwasser are still in enemy hands with no signs of their release.
Why isn't Israel screaming this from the rooftops?
Why isn't the Israeli ambassador to the UN using every opportunity to bring awareness to the Israeli hostages?
Where is Condi Rice? Why isn't she shuttling back and forth in her attempts to repatriate the Israeli hostages, instead of trying to force Israel into ever more concessions?
These are all good questions!
Livni makes her move! (she had been very quiet up to now)

In a report on Channel 2 Tuesday night, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was quoted as saying that the current political crisis may force his removal from office.
“I am not convinced that I will succeed in getting through this,” Olmert was quoted as saying. “But if I go, there will be no coalition left to any of my successors.”

The longer he takes, the less likely there will be any coalition left.
What an arrogant foolish man. His pride will cost Israel dearly.
