“More than 1,300 events were organized in every state under the banner Step It Up 2007 to push Congress to require an 80 percent cut in carbon dioxide emissions by 2050. “

Wussies. It can be fixed by 2009. Anything that takes a Senator more then one term to fix, shouldn’t be implemented.

The only real solution that I would go along with (I think the Manmade Global Warming thing is nothing but a Scam) would be for EVERY penny of any added taxes to be spent on Fusion research and development (and nothing else). It should be our goal no matter what, because cheap energy would fix alot of real problems.

Unfortunately the scam is fooling too many people and money will be squandered and wasted on charlatans and middlemen and will drag down our economy proportional to adoption of the ‘solutions’.

A moonshot like project to develop practical fusion power could get alot of support (except from those who dont actually care and are using the issue just to further their own leftist agendas).

“More than 1,300 events were organized in every state...”

And fewer than 20 people attended, including dogs, crows and petunias.
