Hillary will be our next president.!

Once she win the democratic primary, the media will be behind her 100%.

Hope I’m wrong.

I hope you are too. They will chew up Rudy, assuming he gets the nod, mercilessly, and hillary would whoop his but mercilessly. It would be worse than the reagan landslide.

Choosing someone so close to the opposition is no winning strategy. Either way, conservatives lose.

Are you secular Libertarian...just with a hint of stronger defense?

I am a Christian Constitutionalist who believes that the rights of life, liberty and property are inalienable, therefore God-Given. Whosoever shall restrict those rights cannot be doing so by His hand.

I oppose Roe v. Wade and public funding of abortion. If I voted purely by my conscience, I would vote for Ron Paul.

There is political conscience and there is political judgment. My political judgment tells me that no conservative can win this year, so Giuliani is our only hope. Period. You screw him up and you hand Hillary or whomever the presidency. Any idiot who objectively assesses the data can see that.

Thompson the stalking horse has the conservatives in a holding pattern while he sticks his toe in the water to see if it might be warm enough.

LOL!! That's the BEST characterization of Thompson's current actions I've heard yet.

I predict Fred Thompson will give a great speech at the convention next year -- supporting the nomination of the next President of the United States, Rudy Giuliani!

There isn't an election this year.

Any idiot who objectively assesses the data can see that.

Some of us aren't idiots so we don't see that.

What is this, Home Run Derby? You are knocking them out tonight!

I came out on Election Night and said Rudy was our only real chance. Like it or not, electoral politics means adjusting the brand every so often. Rudy would never have a chance at any other time, but right now he's the one guy who can prevent the 'rats from overrunning the White House and making SCOTUS appointments that will place our freedom at the mercy of the rulings of Eurocourts.

So your story is social conservatives hate Rudy, while others claim Social conservatives accept Rudy.

I still can’t figure out why people are taking these polls so personally, that they feel obligated to call other people names and make derogatory comments based on what the numbers say.

i’m voting tancredo in the primaries! Primaries are about electing delegates who espoused your views ... not selling out. The general election is usually for choosing the lesser of two evils.

I agree with that. so many around here don’t get that. It’a amazing how politically challenged these people are. This is a frickin political website. Of all the crap people could be doing, they choose to display their ignorance on a political website almost 2 years before a presidential website.

Your guy isn’t my choice, but I can see why you’d choose him, and that choice I respect.

I’m pro-choice. I’m pro-gay rights, Giuliani said. He was then asked whether he supports a ban on what critics call partial-birth abortions. “No, I have not supported that, and I don’t see my position on that changing,” he responded. Source: CNN.com, “Inside Politics” Dec 2, 1999 http://www.ontheissues.org/2008/Rudy_Giuliani_Abortion.htm

ANDERSON COOPER 360 DEGREES (November 14, 2006)

RUDY GIULIANI (R), FORMER MAYOR OF NEW YORK CITY: I'm pro- choice. I'm pro-gay rights.

KING: Giuliani supports a woman's right to an abortion, and back in 1999, he opposed a federal ban on late-term abortions.

GIULIANI: No, I have not supported that, and I don't see my position on that changing.

KING: Immigration could be another presidential landmine. Back in 1996, Mayor Giuliani went to federal court to challenge new federal laws requiring the city to inform the federal government about illegal immigrants.

JEFFREY: He took the side of illegal immigrants in New York City against the Republican Congress.

KING: Giuliani opposes same-sex marriage but as mayor, he supported civil unions and extending health and other benefits to gay couples. He also supported the assault weapons ban and other gun control measures opposed by the National Rifle Association.

GIULIANI: I'm in favor of gun control. I'm pro-choice.

Republican Big-Wigs Support Pro-Abortion Event in NY

Pro-abortion Governor George Pataki and New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who also supports unrestricted abortion, are co-chairs of the 2000 Choice Award Presentation to be held on May 30 at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City. The event is sponsored by the Republican Pro-Choice Coalition, a group that is campaigning for the removal of the pro-life plank from the Republican National Platform.

“There will be a Third option. We won’t be forced to choose between just two Liberals.”

Nice fantasy sentiment. There is only one option: Hillary or not Hillary. If you cannot differentiate between the Queen and even the worst RINOs, you lack the powers of discernment. That said, Fred may be the man who pulls us together.

All the dumping on polls around here gets tiring. The polls have been on point with respect to just about everything the last 8 years with the exception of the 2004 exit polls.

The exits polls have been wrong and all other polls are unverifiable.

Great. One more reason for the crossovers to support him. He dodged the draft to what they see as an immoral war. Now he is a baby killin', gun grabbin', cross-dressin', NAMBLA lovin' DRAFT DODGIN' librul RINO. I guess that about covers it.

Let me steer you straight. He is a hero. He is a hero for one simple reason. The people saw it on television. Not on fictional television, either. Real life television. Whatever scary "facts" you drum up from his past will do nothing to assuage that, in fact will only help him, particularly if they come from the right.

Le chien aboie; la caravane passe.

Thank god my French-English dictionary has idioms, I would of never gotten the meaning of that otherwise.

Really? What is the idiom in English?

Literally, it’s:
The dog barks. The caravan passes.

This is self-referential. I’m the barking dog.

He is a hero.
Nope. He is a bum. An adulterous, mob-connected liar who cannot win a GOP primary. Not even in NYC anymore. Bums lose. And his is a bum.
