What you need to know
About Lymphoma
If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with lymphoma, the most common blood cancer and third most common cancer of childhood, the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) is here to help. On this Web site you will find valuable information about the different types of lymphoma - Hodgkin lymphoma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, diagnostic techniques your health care practitioners may use, and treatment options. Here you can also learn about the latest research findings and get help searching for clinical trials that relate to your condition. The Lymphoma Support Network can help you connect with a peer who is also living with lymphoma or you can find out how to volunteer at an LRF chapter near you. Start by learning more about lymphoma.

It’s in remission. Seems he’s getting this announcement out of the way as part of his decision on whether he will run for President.

Probably why he’s been hesitant to jump into the Prez candidacy ring.

Not good. However I want you all to know that my dad was diagnosed with lymphoma in the mid 70’s and lived for 19 more years. I doubt that Fred Thompson will be running for the nomination. Hopefully he will have many, many years left to enjoy life.

It sounds like the least serious type according to the news. Saying it's now in remission.Thank goodness. And for his sake and his wife and children's sake.
Normal political bickering can resume later.

Considering all your nasty, stupid posts, how dare you?
Thompson is fine. You should simply apologize and move on. He has known about this for YEARS.

I think they said it was in remission (from 2004) but it’s back. Praying and waiting for more details.

Ping per our discussion the other day. It seems there was a reason he was holding back.

If it’s manageable he can still run. He may be releasing this now to get people used to the idea, and then announce later. I hope he runs if he’s healthy enough. I have always said that if he can survive the vetting process, he’d be great on a ticket with Rudy or Mitt.

Thanks, I missed that part. His hair had looked extremely thin lately. I wonder if that is a result of treatment.
