If a company knew it was going to get fined $10k per day per illegal, you can bet that no one would be hiring illegals. and the ones that did would be out of business by the end of the week. If you dry up the jobs, there's no incentive to risk everything to cross the border illegally. Problem solved.
You can bet if they wanted the problem fixed, they'd do just that. But they don't want it fixed. They want easy access to slave labor so they don't have to pay a good wage. That's what's going on.

What do you think BUILD THE WALL means?
Coming from Bush's lips....Not much.

I don’t know what happened with Ramos and Campion. I wasn’t there.

With one exception. There are those that will attempt to get across that border, legally and illegally that have the intent to come here to kill Americans.

Juries aren’t always right. That has been proven throughout history in many different cases.

I did not think you were trolling Charlie. And welcome to Free Republic.
You won't find an intelligent discussion here on immigration. You either must agree with the one-issuers and bash Bush or be called a troll, bushbot,....or worse. You won't find many, if any, here who are happy with the President's slow uptake on how unhappy we are concerning the illegals. But an intelligent civil discussion? Nada.
And yes, I watched the speech which made me think there might be real discussion. Wrong.

I don’t have enough information one way or the other. However what I have read doesn’t leave me with the impression that the Jury was given enough information.
But then I’m also a FIJA supporter and I don’t think alot of Juries are given proper instructions from most judges.

Well, maybe you will believe it once it gets built. Have a nice day.
Actually, when Bush's ACTIONS back up his words, then I will believe it. You have a nice day too. XOXOXOXOXO
