Maybe they'll keep her... :)Maybe she can join the 15 British hostages...and then let's all hear what the anti-war Left has to say for a solution.

Traveling with Pelosi will be Congressmen Keith Ellison (D-MN), Nick Rahall (D-WV), Tom Lantos (D-CA), Henry Waxman (D-CA), and David Hobson (R-OH).I guess they are rounding up the usual suspects.

ABC News' Jonathan Karl Reports: At today's White House briefing, Deputy Press Secretary Dana Perino strongly criticized Pelosi's planned visit Syria, saying, "We think it is a really bad idea."
"People should take a stop back and think about the message it sends and the message it sends to our allies," Perino added.
.....
This is the same weak-a$$ crap that we always hear! "They really shouldn't do that". I'm sure Nancy will respect the White House's opinion...NOT!! When you break off diplomatic relations with a country it isn't just one political party...it's EVERYBODY!! Wake up White House! This is the equivalent of Kerry going to Paris to negotiate with the North Vietnamese! Does anyone have the balls to stop it? THAT is the question!
.....
Perino said she did not know if anybody in the administration had spoken directly to Pelosi to discourage the trip.
.....
And why the hell didn't she know? Doesn't anyone in that place know anything?
DAMN just damn!

Yep. In his own words, from
NRO:
SEN. ROCKEFELLER: No. The I mean, this question is asked a thousand times and I'll be happy to answer it a thousand times. I took a trip by myself in January of 2002 to Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria, and I told each of the heads of state that it was my view that George Bush had already made up his mind to go to war against Iraq that that was a predetermined set course which had taken shape shortly after 9/11.

Syria and its ally Iran provide much of the essential aid, training, and manpower of for those who kill Americans. Is it any surprise that she feels obligated to thank them for thwarting her enemy, George Bush. Who in his right mind thinks she hates Assad as much as she, the Democratic Party, and the MSM hate George Bush. In their own ways, there is a symbiotic relationship between Assad, al Qaeda, Iran and the DNC. They're defacto allies against Bush. It's similar to Putin's Russia and Iran relationship.

I wonder if she will need the 757? What will her carbon footprint be? Can't she subvert the U.S. from our shores?/s.
I wonder what "books" Ellison will bring along? Who in the hell is David Hobson?????

Pelosi's trip is part of a continued effort to show the world that the US is fractured.
She wants other nations to know that if she has relevance, Bush is a lesser leader. Yes, it's basically a signal to our enemies that the time is right to step up attacks.

How does she get there? Does she use the plane at her disposal for these trips? The WH should deny her the necessary support and logistsics to make the trip. Failing that, arrange for her to be 'stuck' in Damascus for a couple of years.....
Further, this idiot from San Francisco talks like she won a national election last fall. She's Speaker of the House yes, but she's also just a representative from San Francisco!
