If there was one thing that was so refreshing, about Forbes' presidential run, it was his financial grasp and how America could defeat Dem socialism through good, knowledgeable financial reforms.

That's the best thing Forbes brings to the table, but I can see the social conservatives are more concerned with their personal issues than with the financial solvency of the country. Capitalism be damned, according to them. You know, those kinds of people always strike me as people will NO money anyway so they'd be only too happy to have the goverment dole it out to them.

no one makes such a radio, that does all these things. or even can, in a single handheld device. Rudy is now responsible for the laws of physics too?

Fiasco? WOW. Who died?

Ah, so Rudy pushing a corrupt crony is no big deal if no one died. Great standard of ethics you push for your guy. Glad to know it now instead of later.

Was Giuliani supposed to know what is hidden in the soul?

Gee, I wudda thunk Rudy would have vetted one of his BUSINESS PARTNERS a bit closer before bringing him into the fold. Apparently not.

Maybe he could have then vetted the guy a bit before pushing him for the most important anti-terror job in the country.

Apparently not.

But we're supposed to trust Rudy's judgement to run this country WHEN HE CAN'T EVEN VET HIS OWN BUSINESS PARTNERS PROPERLY.

Lets run down a list of current superstars in the GOP. Ones who have throttled the libs and stuck up for the conservative policy and have fought the good fight:

Senate - Coburn, Kyl, Sessions, Inhofe, McConnell

House - Hunter, Pence, Tancredo, Delay (since retired), Sam Johnson, Sensenbrenner

All very much right wingers. Who has waffled and been more of a pain in the ass than helpful? Snowe, collins, Lindseed Graham, Warner, etc. All "moderates"

Leaders force their department heads to work out the best compromise system.

Your non-stop excuses for Rudy sure don't inspire much confidence in his leadership abilities. If you think NYC bureacracies are a tough nut to crack (and apparently Rudy couldn't crack them here), what makes you think Rudy can handle FEDERAL BUREAUCRACIES?

I don't expect anyone to fit all of my criteria. I do expect one who is at least 70% conservative, not 20%

they've had a "compromise" system for years - the limitations it has always had, it still has, and it still will have if another skyscraper/building fire/imminent collapse occurs, and they can't radio to people in concrete and steel lined stairwells - to get out.

Keep beating a dead horse.

Bush and the Federal law enforcement agencies also didn't out Kerik prior to Bush appointing him.

I'm really sorry that you feel that Giuliani is unsuitable because he lacks that "know all" superpower.

Bush had a close aid who was a shoplifter. I give Bush a pass for not knowing. How about you?

Forbes now on FOX News. Speaking about Abortion. Says he is Pro Life AND HE TRUSTS GIULIANI ON JUDGES.

the charges against Kerik are trumped up, for the obvious political reasons. and that will continue, the Clinton camp has someone inside the US attorney's office in NY - still holding this case over him, that should have been cleared a long time ago. and we all know why.

Bush and the Federal law enforcement agencies also didn't out Kerik prior to Bush appointing him.

Because they trusted Rudy. Plus, Kerik lied on his application. Quite the upstanding character Rudy pushed for the most imporant anti-terror job in the country.

I'm really sorry that you feel that Giuliani is unsuitable because he lacks that "know all" superpower.

The media outed Bernie within a few days. It doesn't take superpowers - reporters are dumber than a box of hammers. So if they could follow the trail and Rudy couldn't, what does that make HIM?

Oh, that's hilarious. Denial, denial, denial.

Kerik has already entered one plea and now stands accused of lying on his application for the most important anti-terror job in the country. If you are blaming Clitonista holdouts, you are quite the Rudy toady.

Ted Olson is a moron. It was his wife, Barbara, who was smart. Just because he has been elevated to high positions, does not equate him to her intelligence.

Olson had an extremely super, intelligent wife with whom he had to compete. I could never figure out why she married him. Who cares. Who knows. Therefore, he came off as a slow learner. And to this day, he still is not too bright when compared to his Barbara.

I would be head over heels ecstatic with that. Finally, then, we might actually get to have Forbes as POTUS.

That said, were I a Giuliani advisor, I would tell him in terms of vote getting, Forbes is going to not be that helpful...especially against Obama.

Let's face it. Substantively, Forbes would demolish Obama in a debate. DEMOLISH. But, the American people would think that Obama demolishes Forbes b/c Obama would look pretty and say some sort of irrelevant, cute remark, or some pathetic one liner about his father, blah, blah, blah. Obama is attractive. Forbest is, well, to put it politely, not.

Still....a Forbest choice by Giuliani would be along the lines of why Bush chose Cheney. He would value his counsel and his ability - which is considerable.

I think VP is out of the question.

I think a financial/treasure or other top post, though, might well be doable.....

(Sadly, Forbes never made it to my state's primary, or I would have voted for him, gladly).

Would be a good ticket; however, it wouldn't bring in any states and that's what VEEPS are supposed to do.

Do you believe you are making an argument that makes any sense?

Are you really saying that the Bush Administration and the Federal agencies (FBI, CIA, NSA, etc) OKed Kerik to such a sensitive post without investigation because Giuliani's vouched for him.

Is that you're opinion? LOL

Because if you believe that of the Bush Administration you should call for Bush' immediate impeachment for gross negligence in violating his oath to protect and defend.
