That is because in the abortion culture abortion is the only satisfactory outcome for any pregnancy.

Down's syndrome is one of the most common pre-natal diagnoses to lead to abortion--but studies show screening tests for Down's are inaccurate up to 40 percent of the time.
This is deliberately misleading to the point of being an outright lie. By running these two concepts together in one sentence, they are trying to readers to believe that 40 percent of the abortions done based on Downs Syndrome diagnosess are actually on non-Down Syndrome babies
I think you're totally wrong here ,,,, The early screening tests ARE that inaccurate.. here in the US it would be followed up with amniocentisis or another more accurate test ... however in England where you wait months for a test they most likely just go on the basis of the screen as waiting a few months for a more accurate test would possibly put the mother in greater harm if she does decide on an abortion.

I know for certain that prenatal testing for Down's Syndrome is done with the intent that babies who test positive be aborted even though the diagnosis is WRONG 40% of the time.QFE!

I'm not disputing the extreme inaccuracy of the initial screening test, but even in the chaotic NHS I'm sure there aren't any doctors advising patients to abort based on that test alone. I'm sure there are delays for amniocentesis under the NHS (and probably also delays even for the first screening), but it's hard to imagine that any mother who wanted a baby would go ahead and abort based on a worrisome screen result, rather than wait a few weeks for the amnio. The amnio needs to be done somewhat later than the initial screen anyway, which probably limits the effects of the NHS delays. I'm sure there are few nutcases who'd take a screen result that says the fetus has about a 20% of being Downs affected, and run off and have an abortion based on that, but it wouldn't be at a doctor's advice. And women who would do that are unstable enough that they'd be likely to abort for other flaky reasons having nothing to do with prenatal testing.

Yes, he is 8 months old, but he was born a month early. How did you know?
It was the first time I stood him up and let go of him. He was so excited to be standing by himself that he was smiling from ear to ear and squealing with delight. You can still see the orange baby food on his cheek and under his nose and the highchair we feed him in is behind him. there are also some remaining Cheerio bits visible on the coffee table. He is quite the bundle of joy! He has a cool and unique name but I try not to post too much personal information on the web. It's a shame that babies can be legally aborted right up through birth. our son was born fine a month earlier than some folks insist it is still their right to kill a person and claim they're not a person.

Billy Tyler is also 8 months old and he is just beginning to stand holding on to things. He crawls all over the place and has a laugh that is very similar to Sponge Bob quare Pants.

Thanks for the info. I still don't understand how they "missed" the baby, then had the baby for three weeks before notifying the mother. Something still isn't right. Hope we hear about the findings of the investigation.
Yes, it was a blessing that the baby wasn't harmed. The mother on the other hand must be traumatized by the whole ordeal. The mother and baby still need our prayers.

I'm as confused as you are. Someone said that they didn't open her up, but did a D&C and missed where the baby was. I still think something isn't right. They had the baby for 3 weeks and didn't tell the mother?!
