This is about choices, obviously. To me, kindness and common decency are conservative values - values to be conserved. Ann Coulter doesn't fit the description. She is mean and that is the image she presents of what conservatism is. It shows a lack of character, imo.

So what ? Do you think Duncan Hunter's speech was going to get any attention by anyone other than conservatives even if Ann wasn't speaking ? I haven't seen a word even on this forum about its content.
If you are so offended by the time spent discussing Ann, why don't you start a thread on DH's speech and give that some attention ?

I'm looking for the video. Do you have it or a link to it???
To: agere_contra
No she didn't, correct. She was referring to his political stands and his constituents, not him. Talking about him would include saying who follows him and what he wants to enact.

Reagan was not over-the-top or mean. Reagan was a real gentleman. He was gracious and used common decency in dealing with others.

Hardly a new low. While Ann may have crossed the line, Mother Sheehan called Bush the "worst terrorist in the world" recently.Assigning moral equivalence is what Democrats are good at. It justifies their anger.

Someone had to go to rehab for the word faggot?? What Country did that happen in?? Is that why she said it? And our side is hiding under their beds?? It was some black actor fellow from a show called 'Grey's anatomy.'
I've never watched the show, but I think the homosexual on the show pissed the black fellow off and the black guy responded with the word faggot.
The black guy got so frightened from what he feared the response would be that he went into rehab so his pc acting buddies would not ostracize or harras him.
Our country has come to this? :(

You're all for "mean" as long as it's Rudy Giuliani who is being mean. That's because you and Rudy share the same set of political enemies--and not every member of that set is a Democrat. Far from it. Ann Coulter is a member of your enemy set.
