Waltrip's crew chief suspended! Yikes! You might want to post that separately!

Ahh well, Bill didn't make it in for Daytona, looks like I'll be doing something else on Sunday.
As an aside, eventhough he is no longer with us, I still have little regard for Dale Sr. generally came out on top there during the late Eighties. Dale seemed to push you out of the way, whereas Bill would usually pass, but that's water under the bridge, can't stand Gordon for the same reason.
Have a great weekend.

I remember the race that Elliott commanded but was spun out towards the end by Earnhardt. Elliott had to make a pitstop to replace a cut tire. IIRC, the race was over but he wanted that tire fixed now. He caught up with Earnhardt while Earnhardt was doing the victory lap, and slammed into the side of him. Elliott was totally fed up because Earnhardt's tactics cost other teams so many dollars and risked lives.
As shocked and saddened as I was at Dale's accident and passing, I just couldn't stop thinking how his antics could have done the same to so many others.
