Muslim leaders had called for protests over excavations near Islam's third holiest shrine. Arab states had asked Israel to halt the work, charging it could undermine the foundations of Al-Aqsa. There has been enough excavation by the muslim caretakers that the foundation is very bad as it is. I think that may be why such a fuss is being made. They (the Al Aqsa caretakers) probably know a massive cave in is coming.

I would point out that this "third holiest site in islam" is also the holiest site in Judaism (Har HaBayit), but it's no use. After all, it's so much a part of our culture now that everything in the Bible is a lie and a myth and that only illiterate inbred snake-handlers from West Virginia actually believe that stuff, that it's a wonder the rest of the world doesn't tell the Jews they were never in 'Eretz Yisra'el in the first place. Oh well . . . that'll be next. The muzzies already say this.

Israel should just bulldoze Al Aqsa and the Dome of the Rock and be done with it. If the dirty arabs get in the way, give them the Rachel Corrie treatment. Jerusalem belongs to Israel and the Temple Mount should have the Third Temple sitting on top of it, not some shrine to a "religion" that only preaches violence and savagery.
