That abuse issue happened because people were being attacked. Again and again. Good luck with your private debate, I will happily avoid you in the future. I will be on Rudy threads telling people the truth about him though. I hope that doesn't lead to any attacks.
Much more than gun grabbing, crossdressing NARAL supporters do.
I'm not much for infighting when it comes to candidate trashings that are best left to democrats. I recall some vile stuff that was posted about Governor Bush in his run for the nomination. It's enough for me to support my candidate and try my best to refrain from trashings others. If course, I do not select my favorite until after the first of the primary debates, but at present time, I am leaning toward Mitt.
I judge politicians by their actions, not by the words that come out of their mouths. Rudy's actions speak loud and clear, don't they?
I like "our camp."
I agree, but after following this whole thread, it ain't gonna be pretty.
I will be on Rudy threads telling people the truth about him.
I seem to recall that SPAM and trolling threads trying to incite flame wars are also not permitted. Maybe, I'm mistaken.
Insert Dutch quote, apropos of nothing, here:
"There you go again."
Any other lefty blogs you care to cite?
> Ollie North would be ground chuck ready for frying by the time the media got done with him.
But surely he could do no worse than Gore, who came within an Ace of being Commander-in-Chief.
Or Kerry? North is a *real* war hero as opposed to a fake one. Or Clinton-who-never-served?
If the MSM has a beef with North, then surely that can only be viewed as a good thing? After all, they called the last two elections horribly wrong.
(We don't get alot of independent insight into how things are in the US from overseas, aside from what we can glean from the likes of the Free Republic. Why would North fail so badly? In what ways are Giuliani or McCain more suitable? -- except as seasoned politicians both. But perhaps that's not much of a recommendation.)
No, you have engaged in a personal attack. That is against the rules. Please stop.
Im pro-choice. Im pro-gay rights, Giuliani said. He was then asked whether he supports a ban on what critics call partial-birth abortions. No, I have not supported that, and I dont see my position on that changing, he responded. Source: CNN.com, Inside Politics Dec 2, 1999 http://www.ontheissues.org/2008/Rudy_Giuliani_Abortion.htmANDERSON COOPER 360 DEGREES (November 14, 2006)
RUDY GIULIANI (R), FORMER MAYOR OF NEW YORK CITY: I'm pro- choice. I'm pro-gay rights.KING: Giuliani supports a woman's right to an abortion, and back in 1999, he opposed a federal ban on late-term abortions.
GIULIANI: No, I have not supported that, and I don't see my position on that changing.
KING: Immigration could be another presidential landmine. Back in 1996, Mayor Giuliani went to federal court to challenge new federal laws requiring the city to inform the federal government about illegal immigrants.
JEFFREY: He took the side of illegal immigrants in New York City against the Republican Congress.
KING: Giuliani opposes same-sex marriage but as mayor, he supported civil unions and extending health and other benefits to gay couples. He also supported the assault weapons ban and other gun control measures opposed by the National Rifle Association.
GIULIANI: I'm in favor of gun control. I'm pro-choice.
Republican Big-Wigs Support Pro-Abortion Event in NY
Pro-abortion Governor George Pataki and New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who also supports unrestricted abortion, are co-chairs of the 2000 Choice Award Presentation to be held on May 30 at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City. The event is sponsored by the Republican Pro-Choice Coalition, a group that is campaigning for the removal of the pro-life plank from the Republican National Platform.

I read his book and recommend it. Leadership is the title, I think.
His real estate transactikons are "iffy", at best.
He is a protectionist, but he's never had any problems with giving his "friends" contracts for things that our military doesn't want.
WALL STREE AND BIG BUSINESS WILL NOT SUPPORT HIM!
He has no managerial experience.
he's been in the House for 26 years and has produced virtually no Bills.
His absolutely stupid remake, which so many here think is brilliant, about not needing 100 million dollars, because he is a Conservative and has always been a Conservative, is something an amateur says; not to mention a pompous, arrogant neophite.
He is not well liked by his fellow GOP House members; hence, he has NO chits to call in and no political backing.
He has done nothing and is doing nothing to set any kind of serious team in place. The same is true of fund raising.
See above, as well as my statement about Wall Street and other BIG MONEY MEN.
Just about NOBODY ever heard of him, on FR, until he announced and many California FREEPERS not only didn't know his name from Adam, but still don't know much about him.
Because of all of the talk about him on FR, I made it my business to watch him on T.V.; TWICE last week. His eyelids blinked almost as much as Nancy Pelosi's did during the STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS and the only other thing that moved, were his lips. He is a wooden, unanimated speaker, who makes algore look almost human. Woolf Blitzer tried to help him out and couldn't.
No, he doesn't "look good in a suit"....whatever that was supposed to mean.
He has ethics scandals, with more to come.
What was it about getting a four lane highway put in, near his home? Inquiring minds want to know.
I can go on, but I hope that stating these facts gives you some reasons to reassess your belief that he has a "reasonable chance".
You spam every Giuliani thread with the same graphic/post. Care to post something from, um, this century?
Now, ask a question about the book - Abortion and the Conscience of a Nation by Ronald Reagan -
Care to back up your facts with verifiable links? Thanks in advance.
Which shelf do you keep yours on?
