Libs love symbolism. Symbolism trumps fact every time in their band of thought. I wonder if he rode up in a Lincoln. I wonder if he will ride up in a Ford to Ford Theater.

Coming soon to a town near you...

A malevolent mom and a cooperative government jointly create a mind boggler. It is in Austria, actually, Hitler's hometown.

Three girls who were imprisoned by their mother in a house of indescribable filth for seven years may never recover from the ordeal, experts said last night.

The girls were shut away from the outside world, existing in almost complete darkness, playing only with mice and communicating in their own language.

When they were discovered, their home in a smart, upper middle-class suburb had no running water and was filled with waste and excrement a meter high. The floor was corroded by mice urine.

>> Nov. 3, 2006: School nurse raises alarm about Rebecca’s lethargy;
>> Dec. 12, 2006: After repeated attempts to reach Carolyn Riley, a DSS supervisor authorizes unsupervised visit at family’s Hull home for coming days.

It took them from Nov. 3 to Dec. 12 to call the mother after a school nurse's complaint that the child was in trouble. That is six weeks. They never did intervene. One day later the child was dead.

Yes. That way facts never get in the way. They get to make up anything they want. Then they announce that people who don't believe their fairy tales are [obscenity deleted] nuts.

So they were ordered NOT to investigate Terri's death or any complaints regarding Michael Schiavo. This speaks for itself.

I have never heard from any of the FreeRepublic lawyers yet as to how Michael got away without filing guardianship reports either. Even the one's who wanted her dead seemed to stumble on that one.

There sure is a lot of corruption involved in this case. Greer, for one, ignored laws left and right. While Jeb Bush made some nice words, obviously his heart was not in the case.

Forgive me for not remembering the Freeper's name, but a poster stated that he was in probate with Greer and said Greer demanded proper guardianship reports with his case. I suppose I could go back a few years and find that : (

Lincoln was a Republican.

If that were true, why do liberals love him?

The usual rules were waived for Michael. We just don't know why. You could see it happening at the time. Greer was prejudiced all the way. He had made up his mind for some reason how it was all going to come out, and bent his rulings and findings to make it happen. That's one of the better mysteries remaining. What got to the man? If it was money, it was well concealed. He did show up at that Pennsylvania Death Festival, so his ideology may have motivated him. Whatever it was, it was as if he got his legal orders straight from George Felos.

Last time around, the statistically minded figured out that Hillary meant to socialize 14% of the U.S. economy. Rush Limbaugh said so many times, I believe.

I, on the other hand, think she was trying to socialize 100% of the U.S. economy, namely, everyone who wanted to stay alive. Private medicine was illegalized under her plan. There was to be no escape.

I agree.

When she failed with her socialized medicine plan, she said maybe I threw too much at people at once.

Watch for her to sneak it on people INCREMENTALLY, if (horrors) she ever gets the chance again.

More from Carrie K. Hutchens and the Dakota Voice...

......................................

It's amazing how many people think judges, prosecutors, sheriff's and all other law enforcement officers are above wrong-doing. Then we have a story that reports, "BATON ROUGE, La. - A sheriff accused of having state prisoners work at a stolen car "chop shop" and using them as his race-car pit crew resigned and pleaded guilty, becoming the third St. Helena Parish sheriff in a row convicted of federal charges." (Sheriff Pleads Guilty in Chop Shop Case, Associated Press, February 06, 2007 11:02 AM EST ).

Did it rock the boat and remove the blinders or was Ficklin getting caught for nought?

Snip...

It would also be interesting to find out how the self-proclaimed progressive state of Florida can allow a legally blind judge (without medical training) to make decisions (or assumptions) based upon videos of Terri Schiavo he couldn't have even seen well, if at all, yet call down a doctor (with medical training) for giving an opinion based upon the ones he could actually see?

But then...

When the Alleged Good Side Does Bad

Speaking of "abandon"..............

Sounds like the Cato Institute folks agree with the democrap mantra that killing an innocent is good, trying to save her is bad, is, well, kewl.

Just say it is "nanny state" and the stealth socialism is a camel nose in the tent. Watch the poor dumb conservative suckers fall for it every time.

Jeb Bush got it right. He told conservatives at the National Review summit this past weekend that Republicans lost the 2006 elections because they abandoned their principles of limited government and fiscal responsibility.

Snip...

In one recent poll, voters preferred the Democrats by 2 to 1 to deal with the economy and the federal budget. Meanwhile, the party's tilt toward social conservatism—the anti-gay marriage amendment, the clumsy intrusion into Terri Schiavo's hospital room, the "intelligent design" crusade—has turned off younger and more libertarian voters.

A Republican Party for the Future

More from Florida...

But Florida legislators who want to compel vaccinations are taking good intentions too far. The proposed bills would bar unvaccinated girls from schools unless their parents or guardians sign opt-out forms.

Snip...

If you didn't think it was right for the state to force a feeding tube into Terri Schiavo, then it's not right for the state to force girls to get shots or come up with signed releases before allowing them to go to school.

Florida needs to educate, not mandate.

State vaccine mandate takes good intentions too far

This is from Florida, too. This time, we hear how open Judge Whittemore is to TV in the courtroom. I am glad he must have changed after his letting poor Terri twist in the wind. He sure didn't let us into his hallowed courtroom when deciding to dawdle on her case as her life was in balance.

I think he was frankly Terri-fied at us meanies.

The weekend session focused on practical and personal issues the judges faced in handling the controversies. U.S. District Judge James Whittemore, who turned down requests to block the removal of a feeding tube from the brain-damaged Florida woman Terri Schiavo, said he presided at televised trials while a state judge and never encountered problems.
