It's good to see that not everyone is in lockstep with the Republican Party or GW Bush. It's a sad thing to see but it's the "broken-glass republicans" and "Bushbots" that have put the Republican Party in the minority. It's those same people that would vote for Bill or Hillary Clinton if they had the almighty (R) behind their names. Party over Principle is their theme. Let the self-appointed "experts" have their say. Their foolishness is apparent.

I do not follow Rush like a robot and in fact I disagree with him at least 15% of the time. The President plan is not income distribution but rather a tax cut and it is the ultimate free market capitalism.
A coworker of mines wife and entire family fled cambodia with the clothes on their backs(they were landowners and doctors and lawyers) to escape the kymer rouge.

I'd rather see healthcare premiums paid with after tax dollars made deductible. I understand the argument that those who can't get insurance through an employer are at a disadvantage, but why expose those who can to new taxes? I would submit that the preferred method should be to lower taxes for those currently slighted - not raise them on the ones currently at an advantage.
The President's speech is being replayed on Cspan right now. Will sit back and just listen this time.
I wish I'd thought of that. Good shot, might leave a mark.
