"You don't like to micromanage the Defense Department, but we have to, in this case, because they're not paying attention to the public," said Rep. John Murtha, a Pennsylvania Democrat who helps oversee military funding.

Barf. What the hell does the public know about managing foreign affairs and running a war? Half the people in this country can't even find his own state on a US map.

For liberals and democrats there is no Constitution. Just their interpretation ... and woe be those that disagree. They'll call you names.

They do have some liberals motto's that explain their "stuff" and the little things that make up their 'Living Constitution' thingy:

"I'll give you a fish so that you don't have to fish for your own food."

 “In Government We Trust.”

"The era of BIG GOVERNMENT is NEVER over!"

"E unim pluribus" (out of one many)

"If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is!"

 "Sc**w you, I'm taking yours."

 "Taxes, taxes and more taxes"

 "Legislate by judicial fiat"

"We care" (No one else does)

"If it moves, tax it. If it still moves, regulate it. If it stops moving, subsidize it."

"FREE SPEECH, WHEN WE AGREE WITH YOU!"

The Liberal way of thinking: The reason we have deficits is you're not being taxed enough.

 Their biggest strength: 'Hindsight'

The Liberal Creed.   A dichotomy of life in America.

Sadly Bush does not get it. The new tone was a disaster from day one.

This is a good start. The Demonrats always try to overstep. Make them take a stand. They like bashing Bush, but like Cheney said what are they offering up?
