I understand your feelings and I see what your saying. the problem is that President Bush is fighting the same enemy we are. The enemy is the 535 people in the House and Senate. We the People elected these idiots and President Bush and We the People have to live with them. I'm sure all of us have disagreed with President Bush and We the People are entitled too. I feel that President Bush is working for America and he is accomplishing very much in spite if those 535 idiots that We the People elected. If you read the Constitution the House and the Senate are the ones that run our government. The Executive Branch runs the day to day operation and asks for what is needed from the House and Senate to accomplish what needs to be done. If the House and Senate would stop letting lobbyists fill their pockets everyday and start doing their job, and start helping the President get rid of those factions that are in the Executive Branch like the EPA and all the others that do more than We the People need done by people that are not elected, that should be told what needs to be done and that's as much as they need to do. Also the Courts need to be told to use the Constitution of the United States to make their decisions not anything else. If we would start using term limits in the House and Senate and get rid of those that have been in office for thirty and forty years that are just lining their pockets, things would be better.
Following a good night's sleep, I have to say my comments last night were overdramatic :-). However, I would still observe that the outcome looks bleak for American Jews, unless there's a significant reversal of societal trends.
The alignment of radical leftists with Moslems is particularly hostile to Orthodox Jews. Considering TomSmedley's comments - and looking at my own little army - maybe the rabbi isn't just thinking wishfully about American Christians' taking a stand to defend the Jews. Maybe enough of us will, if it comes to that point.

I am Jewish, somewhat practicing, and vote only for conservative Republicans. I am also pro life. I believe our numbers will grow. Unfortunately, the MSM tries to downplay our influence and underestimates our numbers. If 20 or 30% of Jews voted for Bush they will claim it was 15%. This is deliberate. It is the media's way of saying to the Dems, "You can say and do whatever you want - the dummies will vote for you anyway so go ahead and keep undermining America".
This was such a sickening incident and hows how quickly the Moslems in Bosnia turned on their Jewish neighbors who had lived there for centuries.
So who has control of America's nuclear arsenal in this book? And here is the real kicker in all of these arguements against religious Christians....the next American civil war may well be a nuclear one.
Christians are everywhere in our country...our military and our sciences as well....these secularists that are attempting to suppress Christianity had better understand that means suppressing much of the productive capacity of the US economy and our military capacity as well.
Yes the rabble might be aroused to attack the churches, but Christianity in this country doesn't have a pacifist history; and because of the sciences and technology available, the secularists are going to wish they hadn't stirred up that particular hornets nest!

What we are seeing is in the same way what was going on in ancient Rome, America now being the present day Rome. With more of the Christian faith coming more under attack and being driven underground.
Goes to show that Islam is from the Enemy and the Father of Lies.

From time to time, I listen when I get a chance, to Wahlid Shobat. Here is a former Muslim who not only supported jihad but also was a jihadi before he came to faith in Christ and became a Christian. Mr. Shobat is an example that Christians must not be fearful of proclaiming the good news of the Gospel because it more Muslims come to faith in the REAL Jesus Christ, there is hope not only for peace but a true appriciation of the Jewish heritage of Christianity and to true followship with not only with other Christians but with the Jewish people.
While there is growth of the Muslim religion and I even hate to call it a religion in the world, take confort that in the global south of Africa, Asia, and Latin America, the Christian faith is growing even faster. In Africa alone, with new members coming in everyday, they have to build new churches just to handle the explosive growth in new members. It is the hope brought about by the good news.

If America's Christians do not resist the Left's onslaught, America will go the way of Old Europe - into the history books.

Also this famous saying rings true, "the blood of the Christian marytrs is the seeds for new Christians". All this persecution will do will simply spread the good news of the Gospel all the more.

I would also opine, from my own family's experience, that the majority of the young Jews are extremely conservative.
My non-observant aunt & uncle have three sons. One in the US Marines, one in the US Air Force, and the youngest in the IDF -- mobile artillery.
All active Republicans --- and sometime freepers.
