oh meg...that is a wonderful/funny graphic!
;)
I just looked at my home's weather report in Central Texas ..I'll probably be going home to a mess next Sunday.
.Looks like it isn't going to get out of the 20s there for a couple of days with sleet and wintry mix forecast.. I'd love to look at it if it snows but I hate the damage the ice does..The ice should all be gone by Thursday of next week..We need rain.
It is dangerous, Rus - overpasses get really dangerous.
Meg, hope you don't have any damage when you return home.
Dolly, I want to see DreamGirls soon. Am so 'proud' of Jennifer Hudson - an American Idol contestant from Season 3 who's now making a name for herself! :)
All you need do is wear some blue scrubs!! (Ba-da-boom;^)) And shake de tail feathah....Hehe
I also remember how annoyed we were by stellar jays on a trip to Big Sur one year. My friend and I were doing a nice little day hike and found a little set-aside area with picnic tables to stop and eat our lunch.
We were absolutely besieged by stellars, who hopped all over our picnic table, squawked, etc. Not feeding them didn't make them go away, so finally we left.
It's a feathery angel tree!!!!!
Well, that's a beautiful description! Ice-covered trees with bare branches are way prettier than the ones with leaves, to me anyway. Almost all of our trees are deciduous. We have one Live Oak, one Cherry Laurel, and one pine tree - the rest are all bare and shiver in the winter. :)
I sure love that picture! Warm and cozy and a sleeping dog - can't beat that in the winter - 'sides, I see a western hat there, too.
WOW! That doesn't even look real.
Isn't that beautiful? I have a few artic photos that are as extraordinary as that one. They are beautiful!
You and MB's icy scenes are starting to worry me. It's all coming this way.
I bet if you look up "warm & cozy" that photo is there.
Uh oh, better batten down the hatches and throw an extra log on the fire.
We have another freezing night ahead of us. The citrus farmers have already lost much of their crop, and tonight's temperatures in the teens will probably freeze the rest of it. Some of them have decided to turn off their smudge pots and just chalk it up to a lost crop. Very sad. The best scenario at this point is that they just lose their citrus crop and not their trees too.
Bundle up and stay warm, Sistah. :-)
LOL! You're on a roll, dita! ;-)
Hey, if you haven't heard, Jack's back! I am so looking forward to the start of "24" Season 6 tonight. I am going to pop some popcorn and settle in for two hours of great entertainment. I am having to restrain myself from peeking into the "The OFFICIAL weekly 24 Season 6 Live thread!" to see what's going on. Nope, not gonna do it! LOL.
In some areas around here they are still cleaning up.
I still have those pics here http://www.rusthompson.com/BuffaloStormOct06.html
Now that looks so inviting. : )
You know I am, (((Dita))). That is a beautiful rose. I can't wait for June to see and smell the roses. ;)
