The "blogs" fought the MSM every step of the way on the Duke case.

If not for the Internet, these boys would have been railroaded as certainly as Amerault and the others were.

Thanks for putting D.R.'s name in headline. I would have ignored your post without it. I clipped and saved all of her essays from WSJ for years.

I believe her fans on FR are numerous reflecting the calibre of the members of FR.

Good to see you, YaYa; hope things are improving for you.

Thks. After (way too) many article postings I think I know this crowd quite well. I too love DRs work but I gather she is now semi-retired. A pity.

"And maybe the other lesson these boys learn is that hiring strippers and participating in other sleazy activities can cause you problems."

Yeah, and so can walking down the sidewalk, another perfectly LEGAL activity.

Try to stay focused on who the real criminals are, please.

lie down with dogs, wake up with fleas

or

you are known by the company you keep

I didn't say they were guilty or criminal; I just pointed out that they might learn something from the experience. You obviously think they should remain clueless and crude.

Gee, you are so profoundly insightful! Got any more hackneyed metaphors for us, hon?

If you want to discuss the issue, post something meaningful. I'm not here to read lame personal comments.

And FYI on the use of metaphors: they are more efficient and economical than ordinary language, giving maximum meaning with a minimum of words.

Hon
