"Don't kid yourself Enoch, this was Tony Snows position wayyyyyy before he took up the post at the WH."

I know.... ;)

In his old column, he did take issue with the spending excesses of the Republican Congress and the WH, but he's an open borders kind of guy just like many other FOX journalists....

I DO want them all deported.

Indeed. Well, chump, even if by some bizzaroland set of circumstances, your heroes, Pat Buchanan and Tom Tancredo were to become president and vice president, the Mexican border -- let's be honest, that's the only border you're talking about -- would never be closed. Nor would all illegal immigrants ever be deported.

Quite apart from the fact that ours is a tripartite federal government, and that no president can operate totally on his own, folks with your mindset appear to have zero understanding of the role state and local governments have in encouraging illegals. It is they who control the street cops, who are instructed not to check legal status. It is they who provide sanctuary; who allow illegals to openly congregate at places like Home Depot; and who turn a blind eye to illegals flooding the construction and other trade industries.

You and all the other loudmouths who fulminate on FR and possibly other internet forums are wasting your time here. You could do something constructive, such as organizing like-minded individuals in your own neighborhoods and towns to attend your city council meetings en masse to let them know your demands as regards illegal immigration. But I doubt very much that people like you have the courage to come out into the sunshine of public activism in your local community.

I saw today that Fox finally covered this today (it was a brief throwaway story between ongoing Duke bread coverage and the all-important circus news that Natalee Holloway's parents are getting divorced).

Thank you for making Wolfstar's point.

Just got home from work and am catching up on my pings. Had to smile at your response to raybbr.

I just thought I'd highlight that post of yours, Wolfstar, because it's a thing of beauty. And spot on.

See you around tomorrow; it's 11:00 on the east coast and I've had a long day.

His job is to represent the White House to the press.

Or to misrepresent the White House to the press in cases like this.

However, these Coughlinite/Buchananite dolts appear clueless to the fact that the art of negotiation has a huge role in politics.

Well, chump,...

I guess the art of debate has no place for civility in your world.

You would find me civil when civility is welcome and warranted. However, when the discourse is tough, I am up to the challenge.

Insults and name calling is not being "tough". In fact, it's quite the opposite - it's the mark of an intellctual coward.

If so, there are a tremendous number of "intellectual cowards" on FR (and elsewhere).

Various quotes from "Wolfstar's" posts:

Totally estranged from reality and mind-numbingly clueless about how politics and our governmental system work.

ndeed. Well, chump, even if ...

You and all the other loudmouths.....

But I doubt very much that people like you have the courage....

Then you aren't very perceptive.

But, of course, in the world you and your ilk occupy, you are never responsible for the havoc you wreak.

....but it also makes you a fool.

The mean, ugly, downright stupid behavior of people like you...

Raybbr, you are so typical of the dishonest, weak-thinking hysterics of whom we see too much on FR these days.

All insults and names. I'm glad to see you recongnize some of your own faults.

Horrors! Poor wittle baby raybbr can't take all that push back. What is the world coming to when sweet, inoffensive little sugar puffs like you are so put upon. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

I am not insulted. However, your prior argument for reasonable debate seems pretty fatuous, don't you think?
