"It's interesting to read that everyone puts the blame on President Bush when it's the Governors that want the borders left open."

You're correct in that its not just Bush. The Rats fight anything that will secure the borders as well. In fact they were pissed that Bush put the Guard at the border at all.

Governor Perry is nothing more than President Bush's toady. He has never had an original thought in his life. He wants open borders simply because President Bush does, but Texas does not want open borders. It will be interesting to see what newly elected state Senator Dan Patrick does about this.

In more civilized times, we sent Gen Blackjack Pershing in. Now the NG guys have to worry about being charged if they return fire.

So does anyone think gore or kerry or even hillary would have been a better choice to run the country?

The only difference is that Kerry and Hillary would shoot me ten times and Bush has shot me nine times.

The first few are bad, the rest don't matter.

I don't think Bush would change a thing if both of his daughters were killed by illegals as the fix is in.

If fences and security don't work why does he have a fence and security?

Easy answer because that is him, not us or USA.

It is clear that the Bushbots support open borders too. Let them die first at the hands of these criminal illegal aliens.

This should anger Americans of Mexican heritage in that I don't see a difference anymore.

La Raza be damned!

Is this another example of pride for you? Invaders overrunning our law enforcement?

What? Are you going to chase around pinging me to every thread where you vent your spleen? Let's get this straight right off the bat, bub. Your type's bullying tactics don't scare me, so bring it on. I'll relish picking you apart. Just realize I can only post early mornings and after 7:00pm Pacific time.

So, in a typical example of the intellectual heft of someone like you, you ask if I like "invaders overrunning our law enforcement." Here's your answer:

1. I live in the Los Angeles area, so I know about the illegal immigration problem first hand. No reasonable person who is a patriot wants the out-of-control illegal immigration we have been experiencing since President Reagan signed the 1986 immigration reform act.

2. The question is what to do about it, and how to do it in a reasonable way.

3. From where I sit, it is you hysterics rigidly demanding only the most Draconian measures -- and viciously turning on everyone who doesn't see things EXACTLY your way -- who have made it impossible to find a reasonable solution during a period when we might well have done so. Now our chance is lost, quite probably forever.

4. You foam-at-the-mouth hysterical "real" conservatives were really effective in taking care of the problem. Thanks loads. (In case you're not quick enough on the uptake, I'm being caustically sarcastic here.)

5. I know...I know. It's never your fault. Always the fault of the other guy for not seeing things your way -- and only your way. What a swell way to go through life.

6. Down to reality: The mean, ugly, downright stupid behavior of people like you has alienated not only those who are on the opposite side of you politically; not only independents who potentially are open to any of several solutions; but large numbers of us who are your natural political allies.

7. When you alienate even your allies, it shouldn't take a genius to figure out that maybe your rhetoric and tactics aren't working. Yet your type is still at it, still whacking away at anyone who doesn't toe your line 100%.

8. Not only does that make you and your ilk a large part of the problem, but it also makes you a fool.

I am so sick of our President. I voted for him twice.

So did I vote for him, twice. Who else was I going to vote for? Al Gore? John Kerry? Some 3rd Party guy without a ghost of a chance?

Just wait until 2008. You'll get a chance to vote for either John McCain (maybe Rudy Giuliani) or Hillary. Which one will you vote for then?

There are a lot of good people out there who could be President, but none of them likely will be. The MSM, the reigning Parties, and the Liberal establishment (but, I repeat myself) have a lock on the process and will assure we get the choice they prefer!

None of them is likely to be worth a warm pitcher of spit and America will continue her slouch along into the graveyard of once great nations.

Why is this not at the top of the news?

It's not at the top of the news because it might distract us from the further antics of those zany wasklly wepubwicans and demokwats and if it were on the news then people might get upset about it and that would stall the plans to get rid of the United States Constitution.

Very unpersuasive. It's sounds as though the only people you blame for this mess is the people who complained about it and warned against it.

I'm disappointed that this isn't in breaking news. I had to do a search to find this. Even then I only found it on the third attempt. This seems extremely impotant to me. Apparently not to Fox news, though. I haven't heard it even mentioned.

It's sounds as though the only people you blame for this mess is the people who complained about it and warned against it.

Then you aren't very perceptive. The rabid hysterics are not the only people who "complained about and warn against" illegal immigration. They are, however, the people who made the task of finding a reasonable solution impossible. Nothing less than the most Draconian solutions will satisfy them, and their snarling pack behavior in turning even on their own political allies alienated wide swaths of the American public.

But, of course, in the world you and your ilk occupy, you are never responsible for the havoc you wreak. Some other guy always is responsible for all your sour grievances.
