It's even worse with little bunny rabbits. When a cat finds one of them ....... you generally know they have found the entire family. It is really sad.
Now I'm all bummed out.....
Yoi!
I remember it very clearly - October of 1973. Nixon wanted the special prosecutor, Archibald Cox, to be fired, and he ordered his AG, Elliott Richardson to do it. Richardson refused and Nixon fired him. The Deputy AG also refused (Wm. Ruckelshaus), and Nixon fired him.
The Solicitor General was then made acting AG and was willing to obey Nixon and fire Cox.
Some guy named Robert Bork. Wonder whatever happened to him?
Which one's the HOTTIE? Maybe both? :)
They're disgusting, taking on whatever camouflage is expedient.
It's all about ratings, you know.
Plane is landing now, but I forgot to ask Dolphy!!!!!!
They only relented at the end when it might have become necessary for slick willie to get a pardon.
Parties have changed a lot in my lifetime. Ford was indicative of what was mainstream Republican at one time, and I think that time may well come again.
Almost all the democrats were pro life in the 'olden days' as well. Even Jesse Jackson.
We have got a FReeper commenting live on the Pentagon channel, covering Ford's arrival in Grand Rapids.
Expediency rules, once again ...
I think that should read 3:15pm
his plane just arrived at the airport
-2:15 p.m.: Body will arrive at Gerald R. Ford International Airport, Grand Rapids, Mich. The casket will then be moved by motorcade to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum, Grand Rapids, for a brief private service. During the service, wreaths will be placed at the casket by the presidents of Yale University and the University of Michigan in honor of President Ford's law degree and undergraduate degree from those institutions respectively.
Following the service, Ford's remains will lie in repose from 5 p.m. Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3. The public is invited to pay respects at the museum during repose.
Details, please
If you keep Hillary in mind...then you won't feel so bad for the chipmunks...LOL
Ford was my Commander-in-Chief when I took the oath to enter the US Army.
Steve the actor.
Yes, if Senator Johnson's son or other family member has Power of Attorney, they can control the visitor list for their Dad. I have been there, have had to do that.
