Maybe you can explain what makes these dancers "exotic" . No one seems to know.

In 1997, Tawana changed her name to Maryam Muhammad.

And still nobody manipsnates her.

American Heritage Dictionary - ex·ot·ic adj.

1. From another part of the world; foreign: exotic tropical plants in a greenhouse.

2. Intriguingly unusual or different; excitingly strange: "If something can be explained simply, in a familiar way, then it is best to avoid more exotic explanations" (Chet Raymo).

3. Of or involving striptease: an exotic dancer.

Personally, I don't find strippers to be "exotic" in any way, but it's a common euphemism for the profession.

Nah, that doesn't properly explain her many exploits. More like Criminal Stripping Hussy.

that Central Park jogger, as fate would have it, owned the condo in NYC that the baseball player flew his plan into.

Nifong had no interest in the truth. All he was interested in was being reelected and he accomplished his goal. Rats are all so predictable.

This woman should be imprisoned for her lies.,but she wont be.

If anyone should be imprisoned, it should be the prosecutor. His flagrant violation of law and judicial conduct which ruined the lives of the falsely accused just for his own grab at prestige and political favor was and is heinous.

A woman injured by a float in the Tgiving parade also lived in that same building.

So you would imprison Nifong ,but not the woman who brought the charges?

I believe they both should get jail time, but certainly she should get the bulk of it.

oh, you're right, I think it was the woman who was injured who owned the apt, not the jogger ... a mind is a terrible thing to lose.

Well, being right here getting NY news 24/7 I recall the irony of the woman from the Tgiving parade being in that building that Lidle hit.

I remember when the media announced who owned the apt, thinking that the $1M+ apt was purchased by Macy's ;)

how I confused her with the jogger is a mental dysfunction on my part.

On 60 Minutes, the other stripper admitted to a national television audience that the guy called her the N word, but that it was after she called him "a little-dick white boy".

I believe they both should get jail time, but certainly she should get the bulk of it.

Unfounded and inaacurate accusations are made all the time - her highest crime is lying, perjury in effect. Her pointed finger in of itself was nothing. As injurious as calling someone an eggplant.

The justice system is designed, in part, to protect the falsely accused. It was the high crime of Nifong to deliberately and maliciously pervert the system he is supposed to serve to destroy the accused for his personal gain. Doing so with full knowledge that the charges were full of lies and purposelessly withholding evidence from the defense so that his publicity minded lynching could proceed. His abuse of power, position, and the law as an officer of the court was much greater than a hooker pointing a lying finger.

He destroyed those young mens' lives knowing it was his duty to preserve justice. Yes in my opinion, he deserves a much greater punishment - he egregiously abrogated a higher responsibility.

He could not have destroyed them had she not brought forth the charges.

The penalty for bringing forth false charges should be whatever the penalty would be were those charges true.

It isnt ,but it should be.

She has no business walking and the press should be putting her picture and name all over the Press just like they did to these boys.
