"Ted Bundy had to be dragged from his cell "
Well Bundy can tell Saddam all about it soon!
Saddam is doomed. It is now apparent that he will hang tonight (or tomorrow morning, Baghdad time).
He is now in the hands of the living God.
Your Wife Rocks, I like her style
You think you have it bad? We have a cop killer ( Mumia abu-Jamal) WHO HAD HIS OWN RADIO SHOW WHILE HE WAS ON DEATH ROW.
From his Wikipedia entry
Since his imprisonment, Abu-Jamal continued his political activism, publishing Live from Death Row, a book on life inside prisons. He has also completed his Bachelor of Arts from Goddard College, and earned a Master of Arts from California State University, Dominguez Hills, both by distance education. Via tape from his cell he made commencement speeches to graduating classes at UC Santa Cruz, Evergreen State College, Antioch College, and Occidental College, and made frequent commentaries on radio shows. He has his own radio program that airs regularly and can be heard online at Prison Radio [16]. Mumia has been a "guest speaker" on Immortal Technique's musical albums. The organization Axis of Justice interviewed him for their weekly radio show. The magazine Vanity Fair wrote that a supporter of Mumia's, Phillip Bloch, visited him in prison and asked Abu-Jamal whether he regretted shooting a cop, to which Mumia allegedly answered "Yes." Bloch, who otherwise supported Mumia, stated he came forward after he grew concerned about the vilification of Officer Faulkner. Abu-Jamal called Bloch's story 'a rumor-turned-lie.'
I bet he made Dan test the food first!
I posted two days ago that it would never happen. Okay, looks like I'll be eating my words.
Amen to Justice!
Isn't all this hanging mullarkey a bit barbaric?
I mean, what did Saddam actually do wrong? He's not the messiah I'd admit, but perhaps he's just a naughty boy.
Saddam Watch now at T-minus 1:13 and counting.
I Shure hope Dis Hangin is BonaFide!
Perky will probably wear the outfit that she purchased in anticipation of Comrade Castro's death.
I remember the Fla folks and the "mandatory seat belt law" that was just beginnng to be enforced about this time.
Favorite bumper sticker back then, I'll buckle up when Ted buckles up.

Who has caused more people to be killed; Saddam or Bush?
Saddam was found guilty of ordering troops to kill 184 people, a truly disgusting inhumane criminal thing to do and it is for that action he has been sentenced to death. Saddam is suspected of causing to be killed (not personally killing) by means of military actions, false imprisonment, kidnapping by secret police, and war within his own country of what, 100,000 - 200,000 human beings? These numbers are all estimates and no one knows how many people died as a direct result of Saddams orders. Saddam committed these acts over a 30 year period during which he was the President of Iraq he was also an ally of the United States for most of his tenure.
In only six short years, George W. Bush has caused, by his direct actions and orders, the deaths of 3,000 U.S. troops, somewhere between 50,000 (by his own estimate) and 600,000 (estimate of "The Lancet" by interviewing people in Iraq) Iraqi civilians and uncounted injuries. He has also allegedly encouraged some of the same acts Saddam has been rightfully villified for; kidnappings, torture, rendition, imprisonment without trial, and retaliatory destruction of entire Iraqi towns.
How do we justify killing one leader who caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands and let another continue his killing spree unabated?
I wonder how Bush would fare in a trial in Iraq?

Bush - you have to include 9/11 and Katrina numbers to it.... Cooley Hurd Dec-29-06 08:31 PM #1
This kind of moral relativism is unseemly. Both are guilty of crimes
Yeah, Sen. Webb even wrote a book about it.
Just a few million murders, among other things.
