Just because our country may decide to prostrate itself in the general direction of Mecca doesn't mean individual Americans (or Europeans or Africans for that matter) have to do the same. Resistance, whether armed or via civil disobedience, is good sometimes.
Excellent graphic posts!
Thank you devolve.
Do I want to get to the point where I (or my grandchildren) have to resist individually? That would mean that the country I love is gone - changed - no more. That the "noble experiment" has failed. That the government that the Founders formed created a society too sated to bother defending itself.
Had I my druthers, America would wake up to the threat in time to at least slow down the menace abroad by obliterating the head of the octopus and secure the borders from invasion by an alien people who are obedient to a fanatic ideology.
If my grandchildren have to bow down to Mecca publically but resist privately - America as I know it is lost. Sorry, that's not a solution.
I didn't say I was going to sit on my ass while America prepared to bow to Mecca. Soon, sometime in January, I'm going to send Bush and my Senators and Congressmen a list of suggestions of what to do abou Islam in this country, and praise them for wanting independence from terrorist-funding mid-east oil. (A fat lot of good it will do.) I will also try to attend anti-Islamist rallies (held by infidels), if there are any in the near future.
I see your point. But, if we sleep, our conquest may be inevitable, and if we act we have a good chance of winning. "Act" here means stealth killing of major terrorist leaders and relentless military action against their supporters until they sue for peace.
That was a response to current opinion, not future results.
Thank you Time Magazine for failing to name this nut Man of the Year ... you cowards.
