I wonder what Michael J. Fox -- and Nancy Reagans -- think of this?
After all, I'm quite sure that all of those harvested stem cells are being used to support research into cures for terrible diseases like Alzheimers and Parkinsons.
And wouldn't Mr. Fox and his ilk tell us that it is inhumane to halt pursuit of curing terrible diseases?
The only difference betweeen killing babies for stem cells and "harvesting embryos" for their stem cells is that one occurs earlier in the life of a human being.

If it's true, it's absolutely awful. Prayers for the children.

That's sick, if true. Poor, sweet children. (and here I sit without any posterity, which was not by choice)

No bottom line to depravity. . .truly a horrific; but sadly, believable story.

I think I am going to hold judgement
Russia is not too happy with the Ukrain right now - this smells of InfoWar - add to that -- the BBC ain't too bright these days - plus they have an axe to grind on this one.

I don't think anything could surprise me from that place.

This is pretty much just the beginning. We may be able to prevent this type of thing in the civilized world but elsewhere its going to be huge business. Patronized by tons of westerners looking for miracle cures or a way to live forever. Sick.

The people of Russia and thereabouts seem to be strangely amoral when it comes to this sort of thing. I remember reading some 15 or 20 years ago about aborted fetuses (or, if you prefer, babies) being shipped to the West in large stainless steel canisters to be used in ladies' face lotions. They were quietly imported from the former Soviet Union because it was illegal to put human tissue to such uses in the West.

Ah, the bitter harvest of embryonic stem cells!
Will YOUR baby be safe when a zillionaire needs his cells?

If true, that's the most disgusting, horrific story I've heard in a long time.
If humanity keeps heading down this path with no morality, and no sense of the inherent sanctity of life, the future looks very, very bleak indeed.
The movie "The Island" should be required viewing for anyone interested in looking at where our technology is probably headed.

I don't think so. That was (If true) obviously a crime, not anything approved by their authorities. Besides current Ukrainian government is (unlike the president) rather pro-Russian.

Heard this on the news today, and asked a coworker whose wife is from the Ukraine. He said that they had heard of it, and it didn't really surprise them.
Honestly, does anyone think this is just going on in the Ukraine? China is OPENLY trading body parts of all ages, and there are news stories every once in a while from the US. Companies want eyes, brains, hearts and other organs for "study", and order them direct from the abortion mills.

I heard Rush talking about it today and it is truly one of the most disturbing things that I have ever heard.
