If the Feds would have done their jobs all of this would be moot.

What other organizations require a social security number from volunteers?

"What kinds of information do they get with registration? Social Security numbers? Home addresses? If they aren't using that information for background checks, what are they using it for?"
For one thing, they could sell your name for solicitation.
To: Ms. AntiFeminazi
It wouldn't surprise me to find out that the SS# is asked for so they can run a credit check in order to identify potential large donors. State of the art scammery.

wait a sec'....didn't the MCDC say that donations first went to the Declaration Alliance because of some delay in the IRS grant of appropriate tax status? So, and if this is the case, to be fair, don't we need to see the DA audit too? How much did DA take in on behalf of MCDC and how much did they turn over?

I think that is right.

Well said. The forces against them are very powerful, and they are already hard at work undermining the MM. There are many, even here on FR, that have been taken in by the MSM propaganda. The small handful of freepers who pollute FR with this nonsense have hated the Minutemen from the beginning. They're a group of Bush sycophants who hate Alan Keyes and anything he's involved with.

There were 2500+ threads in July August and September with lots of folks calling Simcox a fraudster. There really are only about 15 or so liberal/moderate leaning freepers who keep spinning this conspiracy crap.

You'll come around, give it time.

so how do we know that all the money that went to the DA intended for the MCDC got to the MCDC?

The missing link, as it were. It's probably why MCDC's numbers don't add up.

Now lets see the IRS audit of the Rainbow Coalition Are you kidding? We have a Justice Department which gives immunity to drug dealers to testify against Border Patrol agents. You must be joking. Bush may be President, but the bureaucracy beneath him is more left-wing than ever.

Please please please tell me I'm one of those "liberal/moderate leaning freepers".....LMAOWell, looking over some of your recent posts, it seems as if you are at least somewhat of a fan of Rudy Guiliani and despise Tom Tancredo. I'm not saying that you're a raving bleeding-heart liberal, but perhaps more moderate than the average freeper.
Also, even you must admit that the great majority of the folks pushing these conspiracy theroies are big fans of President Bush. That also calls into question one's level of conservatism.
