I most certainly will NOT rethink my opinion.

I gave a list of things that left me feeling disenfranchised and I'm damn well sticking to it. These are MY feelings, not Limbaugh's or Laura Ingraham's and I respectfully claim rightful ownership to them.

As for Limbaugh, let me state now that if that man really WAS carrying water for some pubbies than it seems he sold us down the river. He defended himself by saying the alternative was worse, as he saw it, and I can understand. We were all faced with the "lesser of two evils" dilemma in so many cases, weren't we?

And yeah, he was incredibly ham-handed with that Michael Fox thing. I got eyeballs and hey, even ears. He came off as lame, mocking and even a bit cruel. Those of us used to him knew it is Rush's way but I can certainly understand how the uninitiated viewed it.

I'm drop dead serious here about my disillusionment and I think I gave viable reasons.

It's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Perhaps even our conservative pundits should grow a pair and stand up for conservative principles. The President, he's a good man and I sure don't blame him for this recent loss. But that man has a bully pulpit and let's face it, he's no Ronald Reagan communicator. I despise every Republican who thought it cool to come out and condemn the President for the decision to go to Iraq when they all voted for it. This is yet another reason for my disenchantment.

There is simply no denying the failures of the Republican party to either enforce or state firmly and clearly Conservative values and casting aspersions to others gives them a pass I do not think they deserve.

Great catch here too AB!

As a former msmer for many years, it's been an amazing transition over the past 40 years to watch straight news formats slowly but surely destoyed in favor of left wing bias in most stories.

Every time these clowns think they are being caught they will run a few r/wing stories just to look good but overall they are no better than the terror types our brave troops fight every day.

They all work from the same PR play book.

I didn't follow the MD race as closely as I should have. Allen/Webb provided enough entertainment for one election for me but it's obvious Steele gives as good as he gets. No doubt he has a great future.

We have Pelosi referring to the administration as a freak show, we have Rangel calling the Vice President of the United States a son of a bitch. This is what passes for statemanship on the left.

And this is what 'conservatives' have wrought.

Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., is expected to take over as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and The (Calif.) Daily Journal reports that Leahy is drafting a bill to undo portions of the new law in an effort to restore habeas corpus rights for enemy combatants.

In 1996, Clinton signed the Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act which makes it more difficult for murder defendants to have their habeas corpus appeals heard in federal court.

So American citizens (albeit murderers) will have a difficult time having their habeas corpus appeals heard, but terrorists will be granted the RIGHT!

If we all don't call our elected officials about this, we're just part of the Silent Majority that got us in this position in the first place.

Instead, ask how we can get men like Tom DeLay to step into leadership roles in the Republican Party.

Thanks for helping me illustrate my point. While in office, and even after he left, the DBM lied, distorted, and misconstrued DeLay's statements/positions on a daily basis. DeLay was their personal dragon to slay. I'm convinced he was a successful target they helped to politically destroy. Even DeLay himself stated, when he resigned, he was doing so to prevent the DBM from using him as an anti-GOP lightening rod.

Delay isn't stupid. He KNOWS the power and bias of the DBM. Because of this, he could not move into the leadership.

McCain we are at a decision - set up a plan for withdrawal or push harder with more troops. We are now paying the price for our policy failures in the past.

Russert states people are looking at election results and how will bipartisanship will work. Russert asks about John Bolton and the WH not having the votes to confirm Bolton. Russert asks if naming Bolton as Deputy Ambassador or other mechanism is good for bipartianship?

McCain states he hopes Bolton is confirmed, but that President should not use a loophole.

McCain will support minimum wage, as long as there are protection for small businesses.

The problem is that there are MANY people who seriously believe in this day and age the "newspaper" is still the better source of information to the internet.

They are the same class of people who would scream "buy a house" when their horse and buggy would pass a broke automobile in the early days.

The MSM in this election reminds me of an old silent film where a horse beats one of the first automobile. The people still flocked to the automobile and the winning horse rider was left confused.

Allen graciously conceded despite the fact that dozens of voting machines went missing. Fraud was massive in both VA and MO.

I have always maintained that we have to have massive numbers of republicans to overcome the fraud factor.

I am hoping that Steele does take the RNC chairman job. He's nobody's fool. Nice to see him truly made of Steele.

........Maureen Dowd and David Gregory will be on the discussion panel........

Wow! Now there's some objective and intelligent guests whose opinions I can't wait to hear and take to heart.

In the spirit of equal time, next week their places will be taken by Anne Coulter and Mike Savage.

And I would prefer that the President had stuck with Mr. Rumsfeld, who has performed well under adverse conditions and remained loyal.

I suspect the timing was Rummy's call. As soon as he knew Dems won the Senate, Rummy knew he'd be going through two years of congressional hearings. He may be required to testify but I suspect he'll tell 'em to stuff it.

How do you get the word out to where others can see it? There are two websites called youtube and myspace. "youtube" enables you to put video up and myspace enables you to have your own webpage with pics and friends as well as links. IT IS JUST AN IDEA, BUT THERE ARE A LOT OF YOUTH AS WELL AS ADULTS WHO GO THERE AND THESE ARE THE HOTTEST SITES RIGHT NOW. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
