Iraqi president says Democrats told him they will not pull out quickly

And that the check is in the mail, that of course they'll still respect him in the morning, and that they're from Washington and they're here to help!

God pity the Iraqis, they are so f***ed.

These guys who were elected by such small margins act like they are suddenly running the country. Not so fast, Libs. President Bush still runs this country. Don't you think you should check in with him first? Oh and another thing, you do understand you don't take office till January, don't you. Then you can preen for the traitorous media.

I see the Boston Herald decides after the election to print this:

He said thousands of non-Iraqi fighters had been killed. Al-Qaida in Iraq leader Abu Ayyub al-Masri, also known as Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, recently acknowledged that more than 4,000 fighters from his group have been killed. He added that “200 fighters used to enter the country every day and now it is about 30 a day.”

Expect the "30 a day" figure to climb right back up, now that "victory" is at hand.

No, but they'll pull out slowly.

We should introduce the PM to FR, minus armchair ASSumptions.

Talabani knows W's unchanged resolve even better than some on FR.
