I sure hope that the House and Senate don't take their eye off the ball of Islamic terrorism--getting caught up in all this tit for tat crap puts us in danger--I live too dangerously close to Ground Zero to want to have to worry about a distracted President and a shrill media who loves to create circuses.

Folks, let us remember: the are Democrats. Also known as LIARS, the party of Clinton, tax-raisers, lovers of infanticide, pacifist surrenderers.

In other words, John Conyers' word means nothing.

There won't be any impeachment proceedings. They don't have anywhere near enough votes for it in the Senate. The political blowback on the Dems would far outweigh any short-term effect it would have on Bush's popularity.

I'll believe no impeachment when I haven't seen it.

I'll believe it when I (don't) see it. These people lie their asses off - no reason to believe anything they say.

Bull. It's their hatred of Bush that has kept them alive; revenge is stronger than intellect.

Dear Democrat voter,

Here is why you voted for a Democrat:
1. Impeach Bush (see Conyers response)
2. Get out of Iraq now (see Howard Dean and Chris Matthews)

So....they're not doing what you expected them to do...and they didn't offer any other plans, just criticism.

Feeling duped already?

Wait until they actually get into office in January.

I'd bet a six pack this is why Rummy got dumped. A trade between President Bush and Pilosi.

If they tried to impeach him this would be a short 2 year majority.

He'll "be forced to revisit the impeachemtn idea" within a month, and will file the bill shortly thereafter.

Investigations galore, yes. Impeachment, no. Impeachment requires evidence. They have none and they know it. But long, drawn out investigations that give the appearance of wrong doing, even if there wasn't, that's politically useful.

Impeachment is off the table. Yeah, right. That's like an alcoholic swearing off drinking, or a heroin addict swearing off drugs. For the next two months, yeah, maybe. As soon as they get in power, however, it's going to be ON THE TABLE. It's a certainty.
